This book has a good variety of recipes from the Disney parks! I liked that it included entrees, desserts, and even drinks.

There were a few things that I would have helped me like it even more. There are several images of the final product for many of the recipes, but I would have like that for most recipes. Disney is colorful, why not make sure the cookbook matches that. Adding some recipes from parks outside the US may have added some flair too for people that may never be able to get to those locations. Plus where was the Dole Whip and Beignets, those were sadly missed!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me a copy of this ARC for my honest review.

Ashley Craft’s The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook is a wonderful cookbook that will bring the magic of the American Disney parks straight into your kitchen!

This well-organised recipe collection is divided into chapters on Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers and Snacks, Main Dishes, Desserts, and Drinks. The book also features a very helpful section on The Disney Parks Restaurants Experience which gives readers some fascinating facts about several of the most popular Disney restaurants like Tiffins Restaurant and Be Our Guest Restaurant. There is also a chapter on The Disney Parks Cook’s Essentials which lists the tools like piping bags and syrups that you’ll need to whip up your own fanciful feasts!

I am a huge Disney fanatic and I cannot wait to start whipping up these goodies! I love that the book features a range of both easy and more complicated dishes. There are approachable Breakfast dishes like Mickey-Shaped Pancakes but I will need a more experienced cook to help me with Melba Crepes (fruit filled homemade crepes!). Simple Lunch dishes include the bright The Sun Bonnet Trio Strawberry Salad while there are more time and labour-intensive meals like Lobster Bisque with homemade lobster stock!

Fun appetizers include the intricate Five-Blossom Bread and the crowd-pleasing Fried Mozzarella. You can also enjoy Jambalaya or try hybrid Curry-Spiced Pizza with from scratch pizza dough! Everyone’s favourite Desserts section features the decadent Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and the super cool The Sword in the Sweet (a pudding with a cookie sword in it!). Funky drinks include The Happy Haunts Milkshake (topped with a chocolate glazed donut!) and the fan favourite Rum Blossoms (a bright fruity alcoholic drink with boba balls that can also be made non-alcoholic!).

The recipes are clearly detailed and easy-to-follow. Craft’s writing is concise and friendly. She begins the recipes with a brief write-up which can include fun facts about the dish’s history, the restaurant location, tasting notes or serving tips. Many of the ingredients are fairly accessible and moderately inexpensive. Craft also often offers several ingredient swaps. There are several specialty items like flavoured boba pearls and buckwheat flour. But, they are still moderately inexpensive and not too difficult to find. Also, several recipes do require the use of specialty equipment like a bacon press and aluminum cream maker but, thankfully, Craft offers utensil swaps for those of us who do not want to purchase these things. While many of the recipes encourage creating items from scratch, I also appreciate the use of convenience items like cake mix, Hawaiian rolls, and pot sticker wrappers. There are also great tips for making drinks non-alcoholic and I also appreciate that there are quite a few vegetarian recipes.

The book’s layout is simple, clean, and elegant. I do wish it was more exciting to suit the magic of Disney. I also like that many of the recipes have simply staged but lovely full-colour and full-page pictures.

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was looking through all the cookbooks on NetGalley and was immediately drawn in by the cover and title for "The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook"!

"The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook" by Ashley Craft is a cookbook must-have for Disney-loving home cooks looking for Disney-inspired dishes!

This cookbook features 100+ recipes inspired by dishes served at restaurants in Disney Parks . It has 2 parts:
- The first part is "Disney Parks Restaurant 101", which gives readers an introduction to some of the most popular restaurants in the six US Parks and a run-down of kitchen/cooking essentials you'll need for some of the recipes. This section was very informative and a pretty cool addition, especially to Disney fans and park tourists who might want more insight to the restaurants.
- The second part is "Disney Parks Restaurant Recipes", which holds all the recipes and is broken down into 6 sections: Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers and Snacks, Main Dishes, Desserts, and Drinks.

Most of the recipes have steps and ingredients that are simple and accessible so any home cook can cook them at home. Only a few recipes call for "special" cooking gadgets and ingredients (like the Drinks section which includes cocktails). There's also dairy-free recipes so folks with lactose intolerance or dairy allergies can eat and enjoy (like me!)

I really liked the Disney Park-inspired recipes featured in the cookbook but I noticed that not all of the recipes were accompanied by a photo. It would've been amazing to see a photo of the final product for each just so I could have an idea of what they're supposed to look like. (Please note: I just received an e-ARC of the cookbook via NetGalley, so the final published product might include more photos.)

While there are a lot of recipes featured here, at first glance, I was particularly drawn to the recipes under the Breakfast, Main Dishes, and Desserts sections.

Here are recipes that I've bookmarked:
- Mustafarian Lava Rolls (Oga's Cantina, Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios)
- Sausage and Gravy Tots (The Friear's Nook, Magic Kingdom)
- Mickey-Shaped Pancakes (Red Rose Taverne, Disneyland)
- Jambalaya (French Market Restaurant, Disneyland)
- Impossible Spoonful (Pym Test Kitchen, Disney California Adventure) (This is plant-based and dairy free)
- Ka-Cheeseburger (Flo's V8 Cafe, Disney California Adventure)
- Sweet Lumpia! (The Tropical Hideaway, Disneyland)
- Wookie Cookies (Backlot Express, Disney's Hollywood Studios)
- Strawberry Shortcake Funnel Cake Fries (Award Weiners, Disney California Adventure)

Thank you Adams Media for providing me an e-copy to review on NetGalley.

I received a copy from Adams Media through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

In this excellent book, we are taken on a delicious journey through a number of Disney’s restaurants. All readers are in for a treat whether or not they’ve ever made it to a Disney park, or if they’re hoping for their favorite Disney park dish to appear. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to any of the Disney parks, but I look forward to reading these books because they bring some of that Disney magic to the table. Literally.

This book brings a little information about various locations in the parks and their inspiration. There’s also a section covering some cooking essentials and their substitutes. I don’t know about you, but I won’t be getting a bacon press, but the spatula they suggest is an excellent substitute! Of course, we can’t forget the food and drinks. The recipes are divided by type: breakfast, lunch, appetizers and snacks, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. You can also find which Disney park and restaurant each recipe hails from before you get to the recipe.

Like in Ashley’s previous books, the recipes are simple and easy to follow. The pictures that accompany many of the recipes also look absolutely delicious. I’m excited to make some of these recipes soon as I’m bored of what I’ve been eating and am excited to switch things up again.

I love these books. There are so many fun, interesting, and tasty recipes. My only gripe is that a lot of recipes have ingredients that will almost never be on hand. It becomes a little frustrating to have to get a million new ingredients just for one fun recipe.

Book Review: The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook

The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook by Ashley Craft is a delightful culinary journey that brings the magic of Disney’s restaurants straight to your kitchen. With over 100 recipes inspired by the hottest restaurants at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, this cookbook allows you to recreate popular restaurant favorites right in the comfort of your own home.

The book begins with a brief introduction, setting the stage for the culinary adventure that awaits. Craft explains that this cookbook is perfect for both Disney experts who miss the familiar flavors in between trips and fans who have never visited the parks but still want to experience the full restaurant ambiance. This inclusive approach ensures that anyone can dive into the world of Disney cuisine, regardless of their level of familiarity with the theme parks.

The recipes in The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook cover a wide range of dishes, from appetizers and main courses to refreshing drinks and delectable desserts. Craft provides step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow, making it accessible even for novice home cooks. Each recipe is accompanied by vibrant and drool-inducing photos, allowing readers to visually indulge in the dishes before attempting to recreate them.

One of the standout features of this cookbook is its attention to detail. Craft includes recipes from both table service and quick-service restaurants, ensuring that readers can enjoy a variety of dining experiences. From Tiffins Signature Bread Service to Plaza Inn’s Fried Chicken Dinner, the book covers a diverse range of flavors and cuisines.

Furthermore, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook goes beyond just sharing recipes. Craft also provides interesting tidbits and anecdotes about each restaurant, adding an extra layer of storytelling and nostalgia to the book. This additional context allows readers to feel more connected to the Disney dining experience and enhances their overall enjoyment of the recipes.

As for my personal thoughts on the book, I must confess that I am guilty of spending far too much time on TikTok watching people devour their way around Disney parks. When I came across The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook, I knew it was a perfect fit for me. And indeed, it did not disappoint.

The cookbook is beautifully designed, with colorful pages and a well-organized layout that makes it easy to find and follow recipes. The instructions are clear and concise, ensuring that even inexperienced cooks can achieve excellent results. Additionally, the inclusion of mouthwatering photos adds an extra layer of excitement and anticipation.

While I have not yet had the opportunity to try all the recipes in this book, I am eager to embark on this culinary adventure. The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook has ignited my passion for recreating the flavors of the Disney parks at home, and I cannot wait to indulge in dishes such as Tiffins Signature Bread Service or Satu’li Canteen’s Chocolate Cake.

In conclusion, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook by Ashley Craft is a must-have for Disney enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With its wide variety of recipes, easy-to-follow instructions, and enticing visuals, this cookbook captures the essence of Disney dining and brings it into your own kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this book and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

So, grab your apron, put on your chef hat, and get ready to create a meal worthy of the Mouse himself with The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook!

The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook begins with a lovely introduction from the author Ashley Craft who gives some background on her expertise on Disney Foods. As a kid who grew up near Anaheim California, Disney has been a part of her life for a long time. While Unofficial won’t replace the magical treats (or the steep prices) that readers experience at the Parks, it can be used to enjoy Disney dishes at home in an affordable way.

Like her previous books, Craft seeks to break down iconic Disney meals and simplify them for anyone to make and consume. Some of the recipes are simple, like the avocado toast from Pacific Wharf Cafe or the fried pickles from Carnation Cafe there are more challenging recipes like Disney's classic cinnamon rolls.

I love that Craft takes the time to give her readers some of the history behind Disney’s foods. She notes that a lot of the foods and treats like the chili, churros, and corn dogs that were available when the Park opened are still available now. She also breaks down what constitutes a Disney Restaurant and has them categorized as Signature Table Service, Quick Serve, Snack Stands, and more. While previous books focused on the cocktails and the snacks, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook gets the chunk of recipes inspired by Signature Table Restaurants like Be Our Guest in Walt Disney World or the secretive Club 22 in Disneyland.

With one chapter devoted entirely to the essential tools a cook will need to recreate these recipes, even beginning cooks should have the confidence to use this boo since Craft fully guides readers through everything they need to know to cook up a magical meal.

Each recipe has the title of the dish, where it can be found in Disney Park, a few suggestions for variations, instructions, and sometimes a short Disney fact or cooking hack to close out the recipe. While not every recipe has a photo, I did think the photos were bright and not overly staged like I’ve seen in other cookbooks.

Some photos are exactly shot the way you would receive the dish at a Disney Park, for example, the fried pickles are served in a basket with paper with a dipping sauce. This is exactly the way I received this tasty appetizer a few months at when I visited Carnation Cafe!

Craft also includes the iconic Lobster Nachos from Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure and it looks to be like the original recipe which used frozen lobster instead of the gloopy canned version they serve now.

Desserts and drink recipes close out the book and items like the wonderful Meiloorun Juice are showcased. Craft also includes maps of the Parks showing where each dish is sold.

Craft's clear passion for all things Disney resonates throughout The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook, building a strong connection with readers who share her love for the magic of Disney. She diligently researches and recreates recipes from Disney parks with close attention to detail, ensuring that her Disney re-creations truly capture the flavors, presentation, and overall magic of Disney-inspired dishes.

This series of unofficial books has been fantastic - from the snacks to the drinks. In this third installment, we get the fine dining recipes from the US Disney Parks - signature dinning sit-down restaurant items. Unlike the first book (mostly of snack cart and quick service fares) and the second book of drinks, these meals are much easier to make/prepare and require less exotic ingredients or tools. Most of the recipes are very easy to whip up and give you that taste of the park you loved so much.

The book is broken down by type of recipe: breakfast, lunch, appetizers and snacks, main dishes, desserts, drinks. All recipes are cross referenced for the origin restaurant and there is a large map in the back telling you where to find the meal in the park. Newer restaurants such as Space 220 and Pym's Test Kitchen are included. Some quick service restaurants are there as well: e.g., Satu'li canteen. The only missing restaurants are resort specific such as the Galactic Starcruiser or Napa Rose (Grand Californian hotel).

Recipes include: Mustafarian lava rolls, ever-expanding cina-Pym toast, totchos, lobster bisque, Tiffins signature bread service, fried pickles, Plaza Inn specialty chicken, Ka-cheeseburger, Felucian kefta and hummus garden spread, St. Louis rib dinners, Wookie cookies, hazelnut cunchy Mickey pops, fichwa maji, yub nub, happy haunts milk shake, proton bunch, and many more.

Each recipe has a title, the restaurant/park location, and a brief introduction paragraph. No nutrition information is given, only serving size. The typeface is large and easy to read. Steps are numbered in short paragraph form. Ingredients are in bold on the left of the page. There are a few images of the recipes and, of course, there is always that missing 'magic' of actually being in the park to eat the food. I would have appreciated more photographs so I could see the recipe in completed form.

At the back of the book is a set of maps, index, and metric conversions. You may not have the ambiance of Tiki birds at the Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland or vintage movie projections from the sci fi diner in Hollywood Studios: but you also don't have to eat on top trashcans when no seats/tables can be found, battle off birds at Flame Tree BBQ, or smell chlorine at Blue Bayou. In all, another great book! Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

Skip the reservation and bring the magic of Disney’s restaurants straight to your kitchen with these 100 recipes inspired by Walt Disney World’s and Disneyland’s hottest restaurants.

Recreate popular restaurant favorites right in your own home from appetizers and main dishes to refreshing drinks and popular desserts. The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook features 100 table service and quick service restaurant favourites to help you make your own Disney-inspired menu. You’ll learn to make:
-Tiffin’s Signature Bread Service from Tiffin’s
-Fried Chicken Dinner from Plaza Inn
-Herb-salted pork Tenderloin from Be Our Guest
-Chocolate Cake from Satu’li Canteen
-Popping Particle Punch from Pym’s Tasting Lab
-And much more!

Perfect for everyone from Disney experts who miss those familiar flavours in between trips to fans who have never visited the Parks but still want to have the full restaurant experience, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook has all the recipes you need to make a meal worthy of the Mouse himself.

I had no idea that Disney was a food destination, but then again, the last time I was in a Disney Park was when I was 7 (Disney World) and 10 (Disney Land)…I don’t do rides and I hate crowds, so I have had no desire to go since then. To me, an amusement park or fair is for junk food – The Western Fair’s Fried Cheese on a Stick is the perfect example (with caramel corn for dessert as popcorn is, well, a vegetable!)

Reservations???? That includes a strict time table...not. gonna. happen. at. a. theme. park.

The recipes in here are varied and most as utterly scrumptious and totally appealing. (Pork tenderloin at an amusement park??? No.) This won’t convince your kids that it is a substitute for a trip there, but you can have some fun making the food together: Kids don’t understand how much a trip like that can cost especially if there is a plane and hotels involved. Fun food, fun times – recommended for all Disney fans.

This is a fun cookbook and I can’t wait to try more recipes! Oh, and I will definitely take a look at the author’s other cookbooks!

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for the advance reader’s copy.

The good things about this book are the introduction to all of the different eateries at Disney featured in the book and the map to locate them in relation to the recipes shared. I also appreciate that the recipes were done with a lot of shortcuts which makes it an easy book for anyone to pick up especially if they aren't likely to do scratch cooking.

But for me, that was where it kind of fell short. The first few recipes were more a way of putting store bought items together which I guess mimics what the food at Disney would taste like. It was disappointing though, because I truly hope that Disney would make, for example, their cinnamon rolls from scratch. I did find that the recipes were easy to follow and had good variety. I'm just not sure I would really want to make any of them myself. And in some cases, I feel like the fact that I now know what the process is to mimic them actually made me not want to even pop by the real deal when I'm next at a Park.

I don't think I will be testing these recipes out on my peeps. I am confident that, like the Dollywood book, they will turn out and taste good. Nothing, though, was to the taste of my family unfortunately. I'd have to mix and match too much and swap things out to make them happy.

I will say that the big introduction with the description of the restaurants featured did a lot to get me excited about the Parks and about going to try these places out for the ambiance (and hopefully the food too). So, that's a definite win. The little introductions for each recipe were also typically helpful. The Disney tips on various pages less so because they felt a lot like marketing. Or maybe they were just very basic tips for someone who has been to Disney more than once.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook would be an excellent gift for the Disney lover, especially one who has eaten in the parks. Recreating the food for a fraction of the cost is definitely a plus. The author gives good background information into Disney foods and the restaurants. There are good tips to creating the Disney dining experience at home. There are some shortcut recipes, ones that use convenience products instead of making the dish entirely from scratch. Not every recipe has a photo, which is a shame. The thing that makes Disney a success overall is that it is very visually stimulating.

The recipes are divided into logical sections, which I have listed below with some of the standouts.

Breakfast: American Breakfast Burrito; Cinnamon Rolls; Mickey-Shaped Pancakes

Lunch: Chieftain Chicken Skewers; Our Famous Cobb Salad; Orange Chicken; Lettuce Cups

Appetizers and Snacks: Pomme Frites; Country Seasonal Salad; Chicken Pot Stickers

Main Dishes: Tenderloin of Beef; Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowls; Beef Bulgogi; Burritos

Desserts: Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake; Vegan Blackberry Cupcakes

Drinks: Happy Haunts Milkshake; Adventureland Colada; Mowie Wowie

With a helpful map of the restaurant locations, readers can plan out their food in the parks to sample and then recreate at home. The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook has some good recipes and has an eye-catching appeal.

Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy by NetGalley and the publisher. The decision to read and review this cookbook was entirely my own.

“The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook” is my third adventure exploring the food and drinks of the Disney parks here in the US with Ashley Craft. And once again, through no fault of Ms. Craft, I received this book a couple of months after my latest Disney trip, which just makes me look forward to the next trip!

This time Ms. Craft focuses on the park/resort restaurants and some of their signature dishes. It should be noted that these are from the restaurants, if you are looking for some of the classic snacks (hello Dole Whip!) you need to find the earlier “The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook”.

The book follows the format of the previous volumes: an introduction, a brief discussion of equipment needed (nothing too fancy or outrageous), and finally the recipes, organized by meal (starting with breakfast), and then by course from appetizers to main dishes to desserts and drinks. The handy maps at the end show the location where the originals can be found in the parks.

As in the previous two guides, the recipes range from the too simple (the warm glazed doughnut recipe has glazed doughnuts as one of the ingredients!) to the complex (Monte Cristos, beef tenderloin, orange chicken, and more). A great assortment, plus some more drinks that didn’t make it into “The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book”!

Another fun addition to the cookbook shelf, a great memory of family vacations to bring out in the middle of a cold winter day.

I requested and received a free advanced electronic copy from Adams Media via NetGalley. Thank you!

Anyone who has spent time in Disney parks and enjoyed the food at the restaurants inside will be excited to pick up a copy of The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook: From Cafe Orleans's Battered & Fried Monte Cristo to Hollywood & Vine's Caramel Monkey Bread, 100 ... Dining Destinations, Ashley Craft’s second unofficial cookbook with recipes for the yummy dishes we have enjoyed and want to make at home.

This fun cookbook includes dozens of recipes that even those who haven’t visited Disney parks will actually want to make. The recipes are presented in the traditional manner with the ingredients listed first, followed by step-by-step instructions. The recipes can easily be made by both beginning and advanced cooks. There are helpful comments at the beginning of each recipe, as well as the restaurants in the Disney park where each of the dishes is served. There are beautiful photographs of some of the recipes, but it would certainly be better if all of them were pictured. It would be nice to know what each dish should look like when finished.

All told, however, the recipes are for yummy dishes that many have enjoyed, and they can easily be made at home. Of course, eating them at home doesn’t quite capture the atmosphere of actually being at the park, but no one will complain about eating something good and fun to remind them of a fun Disney trip.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

I decided to try something new this time and was not disappointed.

Ashley Craft wrote other Disney-inspired cookbooks but wanted to focus on the restaurants this time. She provides a glimpse into what makes some of these Disney restaurants unique and how they changed over the years. She also gives some great, fun tips for things to look for or do the next time you're in one of the parks!

This cookbook includes recipes for some of your favorite appetizers, meals, desserts, and drinks from California and Florida parks. If you haven't been to Disney recently, these recipes will help give you a sneak preview of what you can look forward to on your next vacation.

I appreciate that Ashley pinpoints the items that may be required when making some of the recipes. The only slightly confusing part was when she mentions using an air fryer, but it's never clearly stated when and for which recipes.

The best part about reviewing a cookbook is testing the recipes; I am forever grateful!

I tried several recipes, followed the directions, and had some really delicious foods. The recipes range from easy to a little more complicated.

I made the Caramel Monkey Bread, Our Famous Cobb Salad (and dressing), Poblano Mac & Cheese, Pomme Frites (and sauce), St. Louis Rib Dinner, Wookie Cookies, and the Honey Buzz. Every recipe was a success for me except for the Wookie Cookies, but the blame is on me, not the recipe. When the recipe states it makes five cookie sandwiches and you end up with tons of cookies, you need to be more generous with the portion size. Even with that little faux pas, the cookies tasted delicious!

I think the only thing I would have preferred was more pictures of how these recipes should look. There were some pictures, but I'm very visual when making or baking food, so I would have loved to see how my results compared to the cookbook.

Thank you Ashley Craft, Adams Media, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. These recipes were delicious, and I will definitely make them again!

As a Disney Parks fan, I was excited to come across this cookbook highlighting dishes around the Disney theme parks. The parks and restaurants are described here alongside the recipes selected, and I thought this was a fun way to go about it.

The book opens with an homage to Disney Parks restaurants and continues with an overview of all the tools you'll need to be successful on your cooking journey. Before diving into recipes, each of the restaurants included in this book get an overview. Recipes are divided into categories: Breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner, desserts, and beverages. Vegan options are included, as are mocktail alternatives for any alcoholic beverages. Each recipe has a bolded title, a description that includes a backstory, and tells you where the dish or item is served (restaurant and park). Ingredients list, number of servings, and numbered instructions follow. Some recipes also have an inset with more information or a tip/alternative to any ingredients or instructions. About half of the recipes have a picture, and that's my only note - I have no idea why a picture wasn't included for every recipe. At the end of the cookbook is an index and park maps that visually show where each recipe can be found in the various parks.

I have loved going to Disney World every since my first visit as a small child. What I love even more than the rides is, of course, the food. Having a cookbook that can help someone make a Disney meal or snack at home is fantastic.

The introduction of this cookbook is great. The book also describes where each dish can be found throughout either Disney World or Disneyland. It has everything one could hope for, from breakfast to dinner, from appetizers to desserts.

I do wish there were a little more "from scratch" recipes though. For example, one dish enhances a glazed doughnut. Instead of learning to make an actual glazed doughnut, the recipe says to use a store bought one. Other than that, everything sounds delicious and I cannot wait to try making a lot of the meals found in this cookbook.

Food is such a part of the Disney experience! In The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook, Ashley Craft shows you how to make the delightful dishes you remember from your Disney visits. This cookbook has everything but the rides!

Organized traditionally into Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers and Snacks, Main Dishes, Desserts and Drinks categories, The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook has something for everyone. After a brief section on the cooking utensils you’ll need to prepare these dishes, these gorgeously photographed recipes begin. The well written, easy to understand recipes include a Mix It Up suggestion, Cooking Hack, Disney Parks Tip or Park Info. My favorites include Caramel Monkey Bread (so easy to make using refrigerated biscuits!), Sausage and Gravy Tots, Not So Little Chicken Sandwich, Candied Bacon and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Just reading the recipes will make you want to taste each mouth watering dish! Enjoy! 5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Ashley Craft for this ARC.

I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I was excited to see an air fryer listed as kitchen equipment to have on hand. That was a short live excitement. When I read the recipes, all of the fry recipes were set up the usual way with using oil. There was no mention of how to convert these recipes with using an air fryer, and that was disappointing. I'd like to see something like "Air fry at 400 for minutes and shake basket or turn halfway through."

More photos would be appreciated.

Now onto the positives: This cookbook has a nice variety and selection of recipes. It includes some information about the Disney restaurants where these recipes are from, and that can be helpful for those who have not visited the parks yet. They recipes seem to be easy to follow. Although I was disappointed about the lack of air fryer information and quantity of photos, it's still a solid Disney themed cookbook.

I, like many others, was the most excited for the food when I went to Disney World. It is probably impossible and financially unfeasible to eat everything. So this cookbook is a great opportunity to try to replicate it. Overall I was really intrigued to see this, but it was a little bit of a let down. There are a lot of familiar recipes and the locations where they come from, which is super helpful. The layout of it did not impress me. I know with Disney copyrights, it can't be super authentic but it could have used a little more something. There were not a lot of images of the recipes, which is something I really don't like. I know you can probably look online what it should look like. Lastly, on top of not enough images, the ones that were included did not look appetizing. They were super basic and boring. I received an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

All things Disney food and drink...

For someone who grew up eating an excessive amount of churros at Disneyland. this cookbook shined a new light on Disney food. Things have changed and this was a practical layout for making and preparing tasty food from the parks in your own home. The recipes are laid out in a way that makes the food easy to prepare and recreate at your leisure and that kids and families can enjoy.

Some are easy recipes and some a bit more elegant (and plenty of drinks) and the author understands and knows the layouts of the parks. The insider tips on how to order and what places to eat at are handy. I am looking forward to making some of these recipes when I want that Disney magic at home. But I will still cram a churro in my mouth as soon as I get to the first stand selling them at Disneyland.

Although I absolutely love Disney Parks Restaurant food, I was slightly disappointed in this collection of recipes. I would have loved to see ‘the Grey Stuff’, some rice crispy Mickeys and maybe some Dole Whip recipes. However there were some promising recipes to try but I would have preferred more pictures or even a step by step to make it more family friendly. As well, I would have liked to see some alternatives in cooking such as using an air fryer instead of traditional cooking oil, if possible. Overall I’d recommend this to Disney fanatics who want a taste of the parks in the comfort of their own home. This will be published September 19 2023. Thanks to NetGalley.and Adams Media for this eARC.

I'm so excited that Ashley Craft has written another Disney cookbook! This cookbook is so easy to navigate as it's divided into the following categories: breakfast, lunch, appetizers and snacks, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. Ashley Craft did not disappoint! These recipes are so delicious. I have tried four of the recipes so far and absolutely loved each one. So far I've made Slow Roasted Ham, Swiss, and Egg Croissants, Mustafarian Lava Rolls, Plaza Inn Specialty Chicken, and Lightyear Lemonade. I will definitely make these again and can't wait to try out more of these delicious sounding recipes. I hope to see more cookbooks from Ashley Craft in the future!

So excited to receive this cookbook as an ARC and so ready to try the recipes. I have always dreamed of going to Disney but have never been able to make it. I couldn’t wait to see what wonderful treats the book had in store. I was able to try a few of the dishes, however for a lot of them I dont have the equipment at home to do them. I was also unfamiliar with most of the dishes since I have never been. It would have been great to have a picture for each recipe. I did try several and they were amazing. The desserts and snacks are my favorite sections. I think this book is perfect for those Disney park fans out there. I can’t wait to try more.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of this book.

What is more fun than visiting your favorite Disney Park and eating your way through it? Well, author Ashley Craft gives you the opportunity to read about the various Disney dining locations and test out her selection of recipes from those Disney restaurants and food venues.

In this book she has included everything from appetizers to drinks and desserts. If you haven’t got the time or the money to visit the Disney parks right now, at least you can have a taste of things right in your own home by using the recipes included in this book.

For those of that are Disney World fans we like to bring a touch of Disney home with us. What better way that to replicate some of the meals that we enjoy at Disney. Whether it is something simple like Mickey shaped pancakes or the grapefruit cake from The Hollywood Brown Derby your family will love the memories of their favorite trip and restaurants. The Flame Tree ribs are one of our family favorites and I can't wait to try them. The only thing missing is a Dole Whip. In the back there are park maps with the location of each of the restaurants. Scattered throughout are some park hints as well.
