The content was decent enough, if you can get past the plethora of grammatical errors. I don't think highly of McGraw-Hill after this semester.

Good introduction to the subject. Nothing earth shattering, and you can definitely tell that the intended audience (17-22 y/o college kids) may not have a ton of life experience given some of the generalities used to explain large, complex issues such as economics and why 'brain drain' may affect a country.

Definitely a good introduction to conflict theory, and I'll go ahead and say the book seems almost sympathetic to that form of sociological thought above all others.

This textbook does a fantastic job of providing a general overview of the principles of sociology!

The textbook also provides great real-life examples to apply the concepts, making everything easy to learn!

Overall, this book made me think about how sociology impacts our daily lives, and I liked that it provided references to other sociology books for further exploration!

One of my favorite books in sociology
