3.5- While I’ve read quite a few of these before and still enjoyed them, I found that some of these stories shouldn’t have been included. There were too many by one author and some weren’t even Christmas stories in my view. Overall a nice collection.

I feel truly accomplished as a reader now to have read some classics such as The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol. I loved how different the nutcracker story is compared to the ballet and other re-tellings and also enjoyed how much a Christmas carol movie with George C Scott follows the book exactly!!! It was wonderful.

This book I has a good collection of Christmas stories, and I really enjoyed reading them. I’m the introduction was a nice surprise, since it goes into the history of some of the Christmas traditions throughout time. I highly recommend reading this book.
