When feisty college student Yuri is attacked at a party, she’s saved by Toshiomi Oya, the underboss of a yakuza syndicate. Despite her obvious attraction to him, she convinces herself that she’s not in the market for a bad boy type. But when they meet again, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to him—kicking off a steamy and dangerous love affair that threatens to consume her, body and soul.
Oya and Yuri must overcome one last obstacle if they hope to escape the Shéxiē’s underwater lair—Oya’s older brother Mao. Just as Oya gains the upper hand, nostalgia for the better days with his estranged brother gets the best of him. Can Oya find it in himself to pull the trigger and end this threat once and for all?
Honestly I didn't care about the storyline with Oya and his brother. I feel bad, but the relationship felt rushed and thrown in. One of the only redeeming qualities were the short stories at the end. Super cute really 💗

3.5 stars what the hell, this volume was actually good? i can't believe i praise a yakuza lover volume the action was thrilling and i actually felt emotion for the first time between the leads. oya and yuri don't feel like paper characters anymore, oya has a backstory and yuri expressed how it felt to wait for him if the story wasn't so rushed in this volume, i would have gave it 4 stars. i liked the whole story in this volume, but it was messy and hard to read, it was too fast passed extra points for the art style. i don't know what changed, but it looks amazing in this volume
Lots of emotion and drama in this one! In this volume we see a better focus on the emotional connection between Yuri and Oya and how much they truly love each other. The latter parts of this volume are sweet but so sad! I really like how much more depth their relationship has and how the plot has improve. Very good volume!
I really enjoyed the action and suspense this volume had. Following the ups and downs of Yuri and Oya in this series, I say this volume really pulled on my heartstrings. I also enjoyed seeing some content about Oya’s past and relationship with his brother. Can’t wait to read the next 2 volumes to see how this series ends.
a lot of flashbacks and action...but not the steamy kind, so was a bit boring. lol. the art and the story is not strong enough here to make these kinds of chapters as riveting, though it was quite dramatic. oya finally returns to her in the end though, so next volume better be busy ♡(>ᴗ•)

The story cut off to a short story from months earlier what the crap. Is he alive or not? Or was she imagining him coming home I'm so confused with this one!
