This beautifully illustrated issue taught me the following facts:
-The word "butterfly" comes from a word that means "the color of butter."
-Butterflies are mostly found in tropical areas.
-The Queen Alexandra is the largest while the Small Blue is the smallest.
-Butterflies have scales on their wings.
-They are preyed on by both birds and spiders (eww).

Zoobooks was one of my favorite childhood reading activities; I always looked forward to receiving it each and every month.
