Such a pretty book to have on the shelf and filled with yummy recipes. Yet to try but am excited

This book is BEAUTIFUL and it would make a great gift during the holidays. The pictures were stunning, the book felt heavy and solid with thick pages, the recipes all sound wonderful and most importantly, magical.
It all looks like something you'd find at a feast in Hogwarts room sure....but there weren't pictures for every single recipe and I absolutely hate when cookbooks do that.
If there was a picture for each recipe it would easily be 5 stars.

Beautiful cover, beautiful pictures!
All of these recipes invite pleasant nostalgia from memories that I have in of Harry Potter. And now, this cookbook will be able for me to create new memories with my children and pass on this beloved story to the next generation.
Hogwarts will forever be home.

Mam wrażenie, że każdy fan Harry’ego Pottera ma w ciągu roku taki moment, kiedy szczególnie tęskni za powrotem do Hogwartu. U mnie są to początek wakacji i… święta! Kiedy robi się chłodniej, od razu mam ochotę zakopać się pod kocem, wrócić do magicznego uniwersum – czy to w formie książek, czy filmów – i przygotować do tego coś pysznego.

Właśnie dlatego tak bardzo polubiłam tę książkę kucharską. Jako osoba, która uwielbia klimatyczne przekąski i kulinarne dodatki do czytelniczych rytuałów, mogę śmiało powiedzieć, że ta pozycja to świetne źródło inspiracji.

W środku znalazłam szeroki wybór przepisów: od prostych i szybkich, po bardziej rozbudowane dania rodem z uczty w Wielkiej Sali. Każdy z nich jest opisany przystępnie, a całość dopełniają piękne kadry z filmów, które natychmiast przenoszą do świata czarodziejów.

Nie obyło się jednak bez drobnego minusa 😅 Marzyłoby mi się, aby każde danie miało swoje zdjęcie. Przy części przepisów go po prostu brakuje, a szkoda, bo wizualne inspiracje zawsze pomagają.

Mimo tego to naprawdę uroczy i wartościowy dodatek do biblioteczki każdego fana Harry’ego Pottera. Świetnie sprawdza się jako instrukcja do domowych, czarodziejskich eksperymentów w kuchni i będzie idealnym prezentem dla miłośników tej serii.

Very blessed to have won a copy of this book. Beautiful pictures and the recipes I have tried so far have been very tasty. As a fan this definitely a treat for my senses of both sight and taste. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful art pieces and some nice little story snippets throughout each recipe. The recipes themselves were okay overall. British food is weird and boring, let's be honest lol. I did like some of the drink ideas though.

The best part of this book is the descriptions of Christmas traditions in the UK. The recipes are OK, nothing special about them beyond making a link to the traditions of the country, and some clever decorating to make it pair with scenes from the movies.

This cookbook has gorgeous photos and enjoyable tidbits about the Harry Potter movies. I found the recipes a little too ambitious for someone at my stage of life with young children. However I’m definitely filing it away for later.

Why aren't there pictures for ALL of the recipes?! The recipes that didn't have a corresponding photo had PLENTY of room for one.

Also, the Harry Potter cookies should have GREEN eyes.

I really liked the recipes and the additional facts and pictures from Harry Potter but I would have enjoyed it more if there were pictures for every recipe included in this book. As a person who is not British and therefore not very familiar with British food culture, I would've found it helpful if there were pictures of traditional British foods added to the recipes.
