What a fun murder mystery book that I just couldn’t put down! I wouldn’t consider this the most fancy complicated and literally amazing book, but I love the pace of this book. I loved seeing life in Jeremy‘s eyes. Out of all of the horror / crime books I’ve read this has to be the most gruesome with all of the very detailed explanations of the serial killers processes. four stars versus five stars just because it wasn’t anything extraordinary but I truly did enjoy this read and very excited to see the series continue
The book started a little slow and was a bit disturbing, but as I got in to the first few chapters, it moved faster. It was a bit confusing for me at one point. I felt like maybe I misread something at some point. I really am not a fan of books that don't have a true ending. I understand it leads to the next book, but I would rather have the story wrapped in up in one book.

Definitely a page turner! A quick and easy read with short chapters from both the killers point of view and the medical examiner's. I loved it, I just didn't like the ending. I didn't realize there was a sequel. I prefer my thrillers to be standalones. Now I have to read book 2 for closure.
(256 pages)the book was all around good but it was slow at the beginning, However, the ending left me with so many questions and wanting a sequel to know if they find and capture the killer or not and what happens with the main character for her future. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a mystery/good read
