Viola has been given three months to live but she refuses to die a virgin. She travels to Venice where she wants to experience physical pleasure with a man without causing a scandal for her family. Afterward, she plans to take her own life to ensure she exits the world painlessly and with dignity. Unfortunately, the man she meets in a disreputable club couldn't be a worse choice for her plans.
Dante, a hedonistic vampire, saves Viola from a violent rake. To stop her from seeking out even more dangerous men to find carnal pleasures, he offers her a night of passion in his arms, only to discover she's a virgin.
Viola flees, disdainful of the sex act and determined to end her life. Horrified, Dante stops Viola from harming herself and proceeds to deliver the pleasure he promised - one kiss and one touch at a time until she's ready to take all of him, over and over again. Then events force Dante's hand ...
Erotic vampire novella - approx. 115 pages on the Nook / 28,000 words. The book is illustrated with pictures of Venice from the author's personal collection.
Warning: graphic and explicit sex scenes - not for the faint of heart.

Venice Vampyr: Final Affair is another great read by Tina Folsom. Tina is known for her heated vampire books, but she turned up the emotions in this one, I really enjoyed it. I liked how Tina added some pictures between the chapters, it makes you get a better feel for the stroy.
Viola is taking her last few months of life to get rid of her virginity problem before she takes her life. What she didn’t expect was to find a man that can give her another option for life. I really liked Viola she is in a tuff situation and does what she thinks is right.
After Drake finds Viola in a whorehouse he takes her home to have a night of fun sex, but what he didn’t expect was Viola’s outcome after the affair. Now that Drakes pride has been hurt he has to make amends. I liked Derek in this book. The first book Venice Vampyr, I didn’t really like him he had a very bad attitude, so I just thought it would be the same when I started reading this one. I was very happy in the change.
This is a nice quick sexy read with plenty of hot sex, so be prepared for it.
Dante and Viola are our lovers in this second installment of the Venice Vampyr series. I really tried not to let little nagging questions like, why Venice when vamps drown so easily. It's a small thing but it did nag me.
Dante is a free spirited rake with a conscience. He meets Viola when he beats up a human who is a bully that has beaten Dante's teenage friend. At the time of the beating, Viola is in midseduction of the man. Viola has come to Venice to die and lose her virgin status. She has a fatal brain tumor so she has only a few months. At the top of her bucket list is sex without consequences or complications. Once Dante beats up her intended partner, she decides to take him on as Plan B. Of course, Dante believes she is a young widow looking for a good time so he jumps at the opportunity. As they prepared to do the do, Viola sees his nakedness and decides anatomical logistics could be a problem. The author is generous with her embleshment of Dante's body. In the heat of the moment, Dante discovers she is a virgin and decides he can't work with that. She jumps out of bed and bolts because it was not the best experience physically and emotionally. Dante finds her in an alley with a gun to her head ready to call it a day. He thinks he has caused her pain and vows to make it right about the same time she pulls the trigger.
This is where the fun amd games escalate. Dante is funny and has quite the ego -- it's all about him. Viola's eventually gives in slowly to Dante's ministrations thus yankiing up the heat. For me, this one felt a little shorter than Raphael's book. It's still a great erotic piece that further cements me to this series. I endeavor to continue when more books are added.
Viola is diagnosed with a tumor and given only a short amount of time left to live, so instead of spending her last few weeks in her family’s lavish care and in intense pain she has decided to have one last adventure and then take her own life so that she can go out with some dignity. And her grand adventure? To travel to Venice, a place where her and her family are unknown, to loose her virginity. When her first attempt fails she decides to try again and finds a man that can make all her bedrooms dreams come true and may even be able to save her, but will they realize it too late?
Venice Vampyr: Final Affair is a beautiful story with a dynamic plot and flaming hot love scenes. In Venice Vampyr, the first novel with Raphael and Isabella’s story, Dante was seen as a kind of cold and indifferent rake. I was so pleased at how his character developed in this story and how his heart and emotions were discovered and came to light. I also thought Viola was a great match for Dante, I might not agree with her decisions but I can understand them. They are both strong characters that you can easily get wrapped up in. Raphael, Isabella and friend Lorenzo show up, with a definitely interesting and steaming scene involving the couple. And I am certainly looking forward to Lorenzo’s story in the future. We also come into contact with some more players of the mysterious vampire slaying organization that is a continuing plot point for the series. Love, sex, mystery, action and suspense – Tina Folsom gives it all to you in this second installment of her Venice Vampyr series!
Venice Vampry: Final Affair is the second novella in the series which deals with vampires living in Venice during the 1800's. In this installment we are introduced to Dante (who we meet in the first novella)and Viola.
This novella starts out with Viola and the knowledge that she has only a few months left to live due to a brain tumor. She is a feisty young woman who has promised herself that she will not die a virgin and decides to travel to Venice to lose her virginity. She has promised herself that she will take her own life before the pain becomes so unbearable she will not be able to do it later on.
Viola decides to head to a known house of pleasure to find someone to take care of the deed.
Dante is a vampire who only cares about satisfying both his feeding and his cardinal needs. Humans are only good for those two purposes in his mind, however we do get a glance to his more caring side.
Upon learning a female friend has been beaten by a patron at the house of pleasure Dante seeks revenge on the perpetrator when he encounters the man is with Viola and beats him up.
Viola furious that her chance to lose her virginity has been taken away seeks Dante to do the deed. What occurs next is a rollercoaster ride of emotional highs and lows that will be make you feel both characters' emotions. This novella not only has some amazingly hot sex scenes, but also pulls at your emotions as the situation between Dante and Viola deepens to the point where you can't help being sucked into their world.
Another hit by Tina for a storyline that will not only make you hot under the collar but pulling for these two to make it work. A great read!
Wow!! So very erotic. Loved this! I find a lot of the times with Erotic romance books that the storyline is rushed and it really doesn't deliver but not with Tina's. Tina's erotic romances deliver with a bang always!
This story line is great and flows so perfectly. I was caught in the story from the very first page until the last not wanting it to end.
The whole idea of Viola having a brain tumor and getting only 3 months to live making her want to fulfill her fantasy and not wanting to die a virgin was intriguing and very interesting. I really loved seeing how she went about getting what she wanted.
Dante a handsome vampyr, a play boy who loved the ladies was caught by surprise after meeting Viola.
Viola a beautiful but sick woman decides she is going to try to take what she wants before its too late for her. Well she gets that and a lot more.
Tina does an amazing job giving the characters background. She gives you enough detail. You don't get bored reading this novella at all. I really like how with each novella you learn more and more of this vampyr world she created. This story is based in Venice Italy in the 1800's I love the historical paranormal twist she includes. The pictures she adds gives the details in the story more for your imagination. They bring you into that world and time. Its a must read!
The romance in this book is short and sweet, with all the right elements. I really liked Viola, she was a determined woman who knew her mind. She had one goal, to know the pleasures of a be(wink, wink) and she was dead set on finding a good looking man to do the job. Damn, did she find one! Dante is a sexy vampire who has no problem showing Viola a thing or two or three or...You can tell where this is going. After a week of passion, Viola's illness is getting worse and she had decided she would end her life before the pain consumed her. So, what can a vampire do to save the life of the woman he loves? I won't give it away. This is an enjoyable read and, it being a novella, was quick. There was romance with a nice amount of spice (not as much as the first within the series - a little disapointing). I did feel that Dante was a bit full of himself and self-centered, then again, you do see his character change...In the end, I had mixed feelings about this book and gave it a 3.5. I really enjoyed the first book within this series, Venice Vampyr. It was oh so smexy.
Set in the early 1800's these stories are slightly old fashioned in manner of speech and I found this a bit boring. Historical romances are not my thing. I felt sorry for Viola for what was happening to her but it did not negate my thinking she was an idiot at the start of this book. While I can understand Viola’s wishes I cannot agree with how she went about them. Her actions and behaviour were stupid and thoughtless, especially for those times. She is lucky Dante beat up Salvatore or her life would have been over even sooner than she planned. I am not a fan of Rakes (manwhores) being the heroes in stories, it just never feels right to me but Dante certainly had an ego on him which I found funny. Interesting how everything was ended. Read in the box set of books 1-3.
4/5 - YES! I really like this series. Historical PNR, who knew this girl would enjoy the sub-genre.
And, yes I totally chose the audiobook because of the narrator — ERIC G DOVE. I seriously have a crush on his voice.
This story is a standalone but the sub-plot from the first book is still building. Not really sure what the end game for the vamp hunters vs vamps will go but in all honesty these books are about the ships.
Vamp finds girl. Falls in lust, then love. Girl tries to leave, threat emerges then goes away. Marriage. They are simple novellas and I love them.
2.5 ⭐️ I really don't know why I finished this, because I knew from page 3 that is was... not good. I was intrigued by the brain tumor, then I was disgusted by the fraternal non consensual voyeurism and then I was disappointed by the random bullet twist. At no point, however, was I ever surprised at any turn of event. I had the whole Venice Vampyre series on my ereader; this novella convinced me to delete all of them.
Great story and nice follow-up to the first story. I really enjoyed reading how Dante fell for Viola, especially after the hell he gave his brother. Viola and Dante are a nice couple and I enjoyed reading their story. Well done to the author.
CAN'T SAY I WAS IMPRESSED. IT WAS A NOVELLA LENGTH CLICHE VAMPIRE STORY. IT HAS ITS MOMENTS, but there was nothing special, or nothing we've never read before.
The blurb speaks for itself and you can pretty much imagine how it goes down from there. Insta lust turns to insta love.
Exceptionally well written smex scenes and an ill broken dying fmc who wants a night to feel alive makes this novel a short spicy read! It wasn't as juicy as the first but just as heartfelt.
Venice Vampyr: Final Affair by Tina Folson was another typical teen read for me. Although the storyline was fairly interesting, the vampires didn't do much justice for me. I've never had any interests in books involving vampires like Twilight and The Vampire Diaries, but I gave this novel an exception while I was reading it.
I'm not gonna lie, Folson did an incredible job with the story line. The novel started with the protagonist, Viola, ran away from home to Venice after diagnosed with a brain tumor and realizing she has only 3 months to live. She ...did not want to die a virgin and wanted to be scandalous at a place where nobody knew her. After a series of odd events during her time at Venice, Viola met Dante.
Dante was quite a gentleman actually. He stood for a lot of things I also stand for-- how a man should never hit a woman. He enters the book by sweeping Viola off her feet and rescuing her from Salvatore--a man who obtained satisfaction by abusing women.
I've never read the first book, so maybe that was why Venice Vampyr: Final Affair wasn't as intriguing to me. As a matter of fact, I just figured out that there's a series for this. Either way, it was a fun and short read but I could have read something a little more... not average.

Venice Vampyr is Raphael's brother - Dante - story. Viola is a woman with limited time. Diagnosed with a brain tumor and only 3 months to live, she wants to live her last days to the fullest. She leaves her family and goes about fulfilling her last wishes. Viola doesn't want to die a virgin so she visits an establishment where she can find a man to have sex with, with no questions asked. That is when Dante comes into the picture and rescues Viola - against her wishes - from a man who likes to beat women for pleasure. Now that Dante has messed up her plans for losing her virginity, Dante offers his services.
I've read the first book, Venice Vampyr, at the end of 2010 and the novella was smoking hot! In the first novella, Dante comes off as a bit of a jackass. In Final Affair, Dante is not the big jackass that he was. He's immediately gentle and kind with Viola. I thought the personality change was a little odd. I guess it takes the right woman to bring the best out of a man. Although I enjoyed the romance between Dante and Viola, I felt that this novella lacked some of the heat that was in Raphael's book. It's a good quick read. Can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the first novella, Venice Vampyr, before reading this one.
This was a very enjoyable read. I knew it was a novella going in but still, I wanted more. This was Dante's book, Raphael's brother from the first installment. Ms. Folsom did a good job developing him and making the romance between he and Viola believable. This wasn't just a sexy romp kind of read. There is a true romantic element that coupled with the great chemistry of the leads, made for a great story. Some novellas are just that, short and sweet. This one, however, I would have loved a more full length story. Great read nonetheless.
For the same challenge I needed the first book in this series, I needed a historical book again. Just my luck to land on the same (hated) category twice…. NOT!! This is the #2 book in this series and tells the story of Dante and Viola; which was really predictable. I could guess the ending from the beginning of the book. I liked this book even less than book #1. But that probably says more about my reading tastes than the story itself. LOL! I sincerely hope I'm not *forced* to read the next book in this series! ;-)
I had wanted to reread this for a while, even though I read it in December lol. I loved it but I did think all they did was have sex lmao. They didn't really share so much conversation, besides Dante thinking Viola as feisty (and she kinda was in the beginning) but then she showed her sweet and caring side when she was injured but thought of Dante first. I still accepted that they fell in love because I feel like I could probably fall in love with someone if all I did was having amazing sex with them for a whole week.
Like Tina Folsom's last book in the the Venice Vampyr series, Venice Vampyr: Final Affair touches on three of my favourtie genres romance, paranormal and history. The story is funny, heart-pounding and a little dangerous; this do (and) or die story is something I'd gladly read again and I hope to read the third story, Venice Vampyr: Sinful Treasure soon.
Really enjoyed this story - largely because of Viola's personality and determination to live life on her terms. The interactions between Viola and Dante were tender and humourous. My favourite of the Venice Vampyr series.
This was excellent! The chemistry between Viola and Dante was so passionate. What I twist. Dante was introduced in the first of this series as a hardened rake. It was so nice to see that he had a softer side. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
This one is about Dante. I had hoped that would be the case after reading the first book in the series. I was not disappointed! I loved this book as much as I did the first. Again, the only drawback is the length. I wanted to keep reading when it got done!
Viola's timidity mixed with her strength and determination to follow through with her plan made for an interesting character. Though Dante was the one who stole my heart with his bruised ego and white knight syndrome.
