Very informative book with illustrations. Great pictures of the land, culture, food etc. If your researching this country for a project or looking to expand your knowledge on Guatemala than this book is essentially beneficial.

"Guatemala" is about the country and culture of the country Guatemala. The book is very informational and descriptive, it can give you information about the favorite foods to the governing of Guatemala. It gives nice diagrams and maps to explain further or to demonstrate what things look like. I rated this book 4 stars because I thought this book was descriptive and very informational and I learned a lot reading this book. However, I did not like that it was very repetitive and it kept saying basically the same thing a few times in the book; that is why I only rated it 4 stars, not 5. I recommend this book not only to people interested in learning about Guatemala, but also to anyone who likes learning about different countries and culture.

This was the only non travel-related book about Guatemala in our library system. Luckily it was super informative. I hope I’ll be able to go there one day!

We support a child in Guatemala so I was interested in reading about the country. This book does a great job of covering the basics and then some, and has great photos. A little boring (factual), though, but that is to be expected.
