Using clear text and detailed illustrations, Golden Guides from St. Martin's Press present accurate information in a handy format for the beginner to the expert. These guides focus on what your students are really going to see. They are easy to detailed, full-color illustrations, text, and maps are all in one place. They are easy to accurate, accessible information is simplified without being misrepresented. They are authoritative, containing up-to-date information written experts and checked by specialists. And they are handy and lightweight, designed to fit in a pocket and be carried anywhere.
Golden Guides are fun reading for days when one is not feeling too perky, as was the case with me today. These books are informative yet easy to read. The print is large enough to not tax tired eyes, and if nothing else, the illustrations are enjoyable to browse. I’ve been a fan of Golden Guides for most of my life. I would like to not only see some of the older volumes receive needed updates, but also some new volumes added to the series.
