Written in Leboyer style.... Poetry with instruction. Easy one day read that sticks with you because it is deep and his writing kind of helps you slow down and remember it. Great pics.

What a beautiful little book. As practical as it was poetic, if you're willing to look past the grainy, slightly dated photos.

70% bullshit, but the remanining 30% was very interesting and informative. I believe the 70% was for American mums who "just don't have enough time for their children" and it was mostly "blah blah blah" about energy and connecting with a baby and India. But the 30% was actual massaging techniques suitable for babies almost from day one, and as such it was really worth reading. I took notes while reading it (I had the book lent by a friend), so I can remember the important stuff - the rest doesn't really matter.

This is a super quick read with lots of photos that show how mothers in India massage their babies for optimal health/growth. It really made it clear how to best massage an infant through the descriptions and pictures, and is just very lovingly written.
