It does this by focusing on four specific improving internal communication, fighting effectively and incrementally, running effective meetings, and recruiting leaders. The author, Ashley Adams, knows of what he writes. He has organized and trained tens of thousands of union members, in dozens of locals, across public- and private-sector unions. He works now as the new member organizer for the Massachusetts Teachers Association.
