Such an interesting story… mid 1860s… from India to London to Virginia.

🐘 In the beginning I thought this was a fairly straightforward romance… the heroine Anjelica who was married by proxy as a child and lives in India, falls in love with Stuart the man sent to bring her back to England.

🐘 Her younger sister and brother play significant roles in the story adding a great dynamic to the plot. Plus there’s lots of info about their life in India… including riding elephants!

🐘 Then the story gets complicated as characters from the previous two books in the series are tied in with this book. And, it all comes to a head near the end with painful revelations from the past until they get their HEA.

🐘 Fairly low steam plus bits of humor especially with the children. Overall, a good read!!

(I haven’t read the previous two books in the series and still feel White Orchid can be read as a standalone.)

I've read this book 10 years ago. I never had the chance to read the full trilogy since the books are not available in the Philippines and unfortunately there's is no ebook available as well for this Trilogy (huhu) I hope the Author or the Publisher will release ebook versions for this Trilogy

This is still one of my favorite books. The plots and twist are amazing.

Update.
Just found a site where in i can borrow the book.

White Rose is still the best.
