I'm sure there is some good information in this book somewhere, but I was too put off by the first 100 or so pages to read anything else. This author uses "Wicca" and "witchcraft" interchangeably, promotes cultural appropriation, and describes rituals involving the evocation of gods across the globe without giving any cultural context or meaning. I'm not sure if this book is aimed at Wiccans, green witches, polytheists, practitioners of Hoodoo, or what. Maybe I'll come back to this later and try weeding through the later chapters...
