Great conclusion.
Chrissy definitely held it down. I’m glad her and Key’s got it together. I loved how Chrissy didn’t take mess from Keys. Crystal irritated me the whole book. Her sister and daughter forgave her way too easily. I would have felt better if she got clean for her daughter or sister. But to get clean for a man over your family…side eye side eye.

A MUST READ!!!
I love the way this series ended. It was so good. I love me some Keys and Crissy. I would love to hear from these characters in the future. This is most definitely a must read. Great job Lucinda....

Overall a good ending and I’m glad both sisters got their HEA; however, the grammatical errors and mistakes took away from the story for me! Along with the lack of character development in this installment, the careless editing mistakes and the drawing out of Crystal’s and her mess, Keys’ deceitfulness, and All the other drama I was tiedddd. The sequel didn’t stand up to book 1, but it was a good read nonetheless.

I was absolutely sick of Crystal 65% of this book!!
The baby discoveries, dreams from Vic saved the book rating for me. Alma still should've got that beat down. A good read but it's never enough at these endings.

AMAZING SERIES
I didn’t think this series could get any better and then I read part 2!!!…Crystal was definitely placed in many storms and I was so happy that she had Blue to really see her and let her know that she was worth saving and she had to see herself the same way!!!…My heart broke when she asked, “Why won’t God let me die”!!!…That was really deep and you truly never know the depth of pain someone is struggling with!!!…Her baby girl was so precious and I was happy that she fought those demons knowing her baby was worth saving herself!!!…
Alma know she was beyond foul to be bedding the uncle and lying on the paternity of the child, knowing the man she was with in that arrangement of a marriage didn’t want her!!!…But Keys hooked the uncle and the Alma right on up and I was glad the uncle was made to take care of that son!!!…
Emony and Sasha was served everything they had coming for that mess they did to Crissy!!!…Teddy irritated my soul and was glad he was finally dealt with because he was on some serious pettiness because he was in his feelings about a woman and her baby’s father!!!…
Crissy and Keys was definitely kept me smiling and ready to snatch both of them at the same time because they were playing!!!…Crissy stood on business about the stunt Keys pulled and I was glad she did because he needed to learn how to treat her!!!…
Nora didn’t play about none of them and she definitely got her son straight!!!…

An Excellent, well written Ratchet Drama
Keys was the antihero with all them damn out of wedlock babies but man did he love him some Crissy! Blue was too good to be true but ol’ boy loved Crystal so tough that she put down the cocaine and Percocets and locked down her coochie just to return to good girl status. All that I kept thinking while reading was what kind of D game did Blue possess that’ll make an addict want to write a book, and become a housewife? Anyway, Crissy was my girl throughout because it took strength to stay that committed. Her love for her sister after Crystals childhood sacrifices to give a better life was loyalty personified. Lucinda wrote the hell out of these characters. They spoke to me and rang true. This wasn’t some fake ass romance love story. She wrote like she lived it and I appreciated the authenticity of the words. This is one of my top 3 urban romance series and I’ve read alot of books over the past several years. Buy it, read it and cherish it. It is worth the investment.

Great Story, but Errors Galore
This was an incredibly beautiful story! As a former addiction nurse, the author did an amazing job of depicting the cycle of addiction. I loved reading the trials and tribulations of these two sisters and I’m delighted that they were able to have their happy ending. Despite this being a great story, the amount of grammatical errors and narrator inconsistencies should be criminal. These issues made it frustrating for me to read and truly enjoy the book. I’m not a not picky reader by far and I can look past most things, but at the very least, the story should be written in a cohesive/clear manner. I don’t know if the author will ever see this review, but investing in a good editor and maybe even beta readers would be paramount in mitigating these issues in the future. Nonetheless, it was an amazing story, the plot was plotting!

Amazing job!
I loved both books, my positives are how great and well developed storyline this was, it held my attention the entire time. The sex scenes where 🔥🔥🔥 girlll you did that!! The only thing I want to mention is the consistency of the characters depicted from the first book for example Crysianna character changed alot in the second book, she got really wild like her fucking Teddy while pregnant wit Keys baby was kind of shocking. She just seemed like the type of woman that even though Keys was on some foul shit that she hold herself to a higher standard

Good book. Kept me hooked. I would have liked to have a short recap at the beginning though since it's been a while since part 1 came out. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is bc there were quite a few errors... wrong word used, incorrect spelling, grammar, etc. that's kind of a pet peeve of mine and in some places it did interfere with my reading flow. Overall, great read, even though I'm still not sold on Keys lying self lol. Glad that everyone got the ending they deserved!!

Girl this book was everything and I do mean everything it was that good. I loved it yes I cried. I was so happy that Crystal got her self together because she most definitely deserved a second chance. I was so happy for her now lie though. I also loved Crysianna because she stepped up in a major way and took care of her niece and I loved that. I was so happy that her keys got it together though.

This book was even better than the first one. Teddy really surprised me. Sasha wasn’t nothing but a sad bitter witch who can’t let go and move on. I love Blue he is the perfect mixture of thug and gentleman. I want to feel bad for Keys but he brought everything on his self. I had my fingers crossed for Crystal I was so proud of her! Chrissy was the real MVP because she didn’t have to do any of what she did for Chyna. Sensational job!

This was crazy for me but so very entertaining. Crysianna and Crystal struggled with a rough upbringing. Crystal dealt with a lot of grief from the loss of her children and partner and sexual abuse. I was so happy for her becoming clean. Crysianna had Keys stalled out for a minute but I knew they’d be back together. Keys was sprung off Crysianna. He was tatting her name everywhere. Toxic but entertaining as ever.

Not another hood story.
What an amazing series. Not another hood love story, takes you on a emotional journey. These sisters had a strength like no other.
And having family and friends that are there for you when times get hard can place you between life or death. Always have faith 🙏🏾 believe you deserve to live a joyful and peaceful life means everything. Highly recommend this book. Bravo!

Good follow up
Not a bad follow up. The only take away was the over usage of “if I could live in his skin I would.” After a while, the saying became very cringey. Great character development. I’m glad that Crystal was able to finally get her life together. Alma was a snake and so was Keys uncle. I really hope that Tiyanna, Gralen, Baylee and Amos will get a story, that would be off the chain.

ahhhh!!!
Definitely worth the wait!! This book was soooooooooo goodt! Blue came outta nowhere and stole the show! I felt like I was watching my favorite series! Just when you think you have everyone’s story figured out, plot twist! It was really refreshing for lil crack head to sober up. She truly had 9 lives lol But I’m happy things finally fell in place for her. The girls deserved so much and it’s refreshing to see how part 2 closed up all loose ends.

In part two Keys & Crissy begin the healing process after being shot at and losing their baby. Things start to spiral outta control for the couple, when Crissy finds out the big secret that Keys has been hiding from her. After waking up from her coma, Crystal is still struggling with her sobriety. Meeting Blue is definitely the positive reinforcement she needs to find her inner strength. This was a good follow up & finale to end this series.

GREAT Book
This book picks right up where part one left off. I hate it took Crystal so long to get here life together. Keys was wrong for keeping Crissy in the dark about the marriage. Alma was dirty knowing that was Keys uncle baby and messed up his relationship. Teddy was a dirty dog for the part he played in Crissy going into labor early. I love Blue… I glad both sisters got their happily ever after…

I gave this book five stars because it was inspiring and it duplicated life. I could relate to the war with drug addiction use because we lost a beautiful soul to addiction. Thank you for writing such a compelling book. You gave us hope and wisdom and camaraderie and love and passion and those Alpha Males. You allowed Ms Karma to come in and get her lick and I loved it. This book was most definitely an Excellent Read.

The spelling and grammar was bothering but other urban books are highly like that too. The cussing was on EVERY PAGE and I tried my best to look past it.
Anyways, BABBBBBBBY PT1 and 2 IS EVERYTHING!!!!
Had me dropping a couple tears lol. I was tired of Cristal story after she left jail… BUT IT GOT BETTERRR. Chrissy bothered tf outa me with complaining so much acting innocent. All in all Beautiful story!

Tragedy Brings Triumph
I was always told when you're a child of an addict, you either became one or you became the extreme opposite. The stories of these two sisters proved that theory . Lucinda John did an excellent job of showing me through writing the journey of their lives . Keys was my favorite character followed by Blue . I loved how love prevailed through everything and I mean it's a lot in this two book series . I highly recommend it.

Babbaayyyy this was everything! I couldn’t put it down from start to finish. It flowed effortlessly and the character development was unmatched. I had a love hate relationship with Crystal but the way Lu wrote this I couldn’t do sh*t but allow her to earn my respect in the end for redeeming herself. This is a must read!

Whewww!
I been waiting on this about 8 months but it was definitely worth the wait! I been praying Crystal to get right since the first book, it told some time but I was so happy when she finally was ready. Blue was everything and exactly what she needed, Keyon didn’t let up getting his woman back and I love that. This was really good read Lu definitely never disappoints.

Perfect ending!
Baby Keys and Crissy had me going through changes!! Then add Crystal and her demons whew chile I didn't know it I was coming or going. I'm so glad Crystal found Blue. He held her close and I admired the way he loved on her. Keyon didn't play about Crissy! He took her through some stuff but he loved her whole heartedly.

This finale was great
I loved all of the main characters. Although, Crystal definitely gave me anxiety 😳 Lucinda did a great job of painting a clear picture of all the characters! I love that all the characters from book 1 returned and she added the lovely character Blue and others. All in all, everything was laid out in this finale! Great read!
