I must confess that I have been looking for fun little quick Christmas reads, and I've grabbed a few freebies for my Kindle, without always reading the descriptions. I decided to give this one a try, thinking that with the title, and the sweet little teddy bear on the cover, that this would probably be some sort of sweet children's story. It's not.

However, I did actually enjoy it. It's quirky. I have to wonder what inspired the author to write a story about a grown man who talks to a stuffed teddy bear, but it certainly was original. Not really all that "Christmasy", but a fun little diversion. I might have to try a full-length book by this author sometime.

Really endearing story of a Christmas bear, broken and unwanted by his child, who nevertheless finds a reason for being.
You can call me a sap but it made me cry
It was free for the Kindle. Go see if it still is and get it. Highly recommended.

We have a teddy bear that has been in the family for 60 years. First it was my older brother's. When I was four and having my tonsils out he told Mom I could have it. I kept it for more than 40 years and then passed it to the next generations. This story brought back a lot of memories.

Such a cute book! It was a short read, but SO worth reading...even if you're an adult.

The main character in the story reminded me so much of myself and my love for stuffed animals.

This book will make you remember your favorite toy that you told all of your secrets to when you were younger!

This was a cute short story. I downloaded it as a free book for my Amazon Kindle. I will eventually download the other books that this author has written.

A bit too grown-up for a children's story, but okay to read if you're a grown-up in a mood for a kid-type story.
