From inside the book jacket:
"Kate Minden is a reliable young secretary in a real estate office near Oxford. Seventeen-year-old Mary Rust leads a strict, sheltered life under the thumb of her puritanical parents. Linda Jackson is a promising Oxford student with a long-term, live-in lover.

The three have nothing in common... except that each is beautiful, with long, lustrous hair; each has a secret life; and each disappears without a trace."

my thoughts:
Not exactly a sit-on-the-edge of your seat kind of detective mystery, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.
