Kill Everyone is one of the most widely acclaimed poker books ever published. While dozens of new titles are released each year, few have garnered the praise of Kill Everyone. With the expanded new edition, poker players have an even more useful resource for improving their game. The second edition of Kill Everyone has added hand illustrations, full-color charts, and commentary throughout the book by renowned European online player Elky.
Very good book about live tournament, as i wanted to read more (after Dan Harrington classics). It is quite more aggressive than Harrington, or maybe am I not enough. Anyway, there are a lot of hands ranges charts, which is nice if you have the time/capicity to read and study it. The mathematical aspect is well developped. CSI and power number are useful concepts (despite CSI is M-like). There are also nice elements of life-related influences to poker: health , nutrition, concentration etc. I also loved Elky comments: one of the best MTT player in the world.
Great advice From successful players in the circuit, this book links methodology with experience in tournaments globally. The case studies on Ivey are particularly insightful.
This was a nice first step into some of the new thinking going on about the game. It is an interesting experience to know a topic really well and get to see a paradigm shift happen. Not everyone who gets old gets to go through that experience, but I'm sure everyone who goes through that experience feels old.
Super recomendable a todos aquellos jugadores que quieran subir su nivel.. y que no rsten conformes con la teoria basica. Este libro cambia la forma de ver a tus rivales y tu juego
A bit of a technical read, but worth the bother for serious poker players. I found the section on when to shove in relation to the blinds and when to call worth the price of the book.
An interesting second book on the idea that less experienced players can use a "push or fold" strategy before the flop to negate the advantage pros have after the flop.
