Leftovers

Rate this book
This book is not about politics, nor is it about war. This book is simply a good humorous read about a race horse named Leftovers, who seemingly was born to do his own thing. A very mischievous race horse proved very difficult for his Kentucky breeder to sell until a bragging, know-it-all groom from another stable came strolling by. After summing up the groom’s character, the Kentucky breeder of race horses now saw his chance to unload this horse who was a thorn in his side and nobody wanted. The price was one that the groom could not refuse as he peeled off a one dollar bill from his three dollar bankroll. This proved to be more than an interesting buy for its new owner, as the intelligence of his horse was equal to his own. It was not long before the owner’s nephew also became part of this stable, which now would make a very unique trio of which there could be no other. After many failures and few successes, the stable is rescued by a friend, which makes them all winners in the end.
