This is the revised edition of Colony. The novel takes place in the near future and is about a government agent who is sent into a prison to gather information. The prison is 160 square miles of mountains and valleys in the heart of the United States, and there is no parole; once there, the person never leaves. Brent Benson, an agent working for the government, has his assignment derailed before he arrives at the prison. Eventually he is tossed into the prison and found by a young woman, but by this time he has no recollection of his past. Recovering from traumatic injuries, Brent Benson must decide whether to do his duty as a government agent or help the people who saved his life. The reluctant hero must face challenges from his boss, his brother, a man who wants him dead, and an unknown source of pain that keeps attacking his body.
