Truthfully, this was just a flip-through kind of book - but fun to plan a future vacation around pastry shops. The format is awesome - no matter where you go in Paris, they've found a patisserie nearby - Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower. Hopefully they'll have updated it by the time I get to go to Paris.

If you are moving to or visiting Paris, you might want to pick up this guide to the city's pastry shops. It is written light-heartedly and so is easy to read. It also describes some of the more unusual pastries and even gives recipes for some (but who wants to make pastries when you can buy them!).

Do you need a guide to the best pastries of Paris? There can be no guide more complete than this one. Mind the copyright date, of course, but give this book a whirl.
