I appreciate a good story and some science and this book had both; I especially liked the female ophthalmologist. I got my copy of the book from the local library and appreciated the large typeface in the paperback version of the book; a nice touch from an ophthalmologist. The book could have used some editing, but the awkward sentences in this debut novel did not detract. Looking forward to reading the next book and put the next book on my wish list.
