I decided to read the New Zealand Road Code because i was intending to sit my learner license test and in ordr to do so, i needed to read the book and remember everything in it. This book fits the 'A book written in 2010 or 2011' category on the bingo board. The Road Code contains all the rules and facts that are to do with the roads and cars in New Zealand which are needed to pass the learners license test. What i liked about his book is that it thought me all the rules and facts that i needed to know to pass my test with a score of 35/35 = :) (hence the five stars). What i didn't like about this book is that it was very hard to sit there and just read it as it did get quite boring from time to time. But this is just a minor compared to the fact that it helped me pass my test. I would recommend this book to everyone that is thinking about having a go at their learner's license as it is crucial that you know all the contents from cover to cover.
Why did I decide to read this book? I decided to read this book because i wanted to pass my learner license test and in order to do so i had to know the information in the book and know it well so i read it twice.
Which category did you place it on the bingo board? I placed this under the bingo board category I book written in 2010 or 2011 because it is the most currently written book i have read so it had to be put there.
What i liked about this book and why? this book was not a really enjoyable book to read but it did teach me all i need to know as i passed my test 35/35 and all thanks to this book because it taught me the rules of the road. This is the only thing i liked about this book.
What did i not like about this? I did not like the facts in this book although it is important it was very boring to learn and read.
Who would i recommend this to? The only people i would recommend this to is to people who need to learn the rules of the road for their tests. I would recommend this book to some one who likes books with facts and has a wide vocabulary. This is a very informative book so for someone who likes alot of information.
i decided to read this book as it would help me to aquire knowledge to pass the learners driving test when the time comes to doing it. i have to wait 2 years still but i think it would be smart to start studying it now. it fits in the category of " a picture book" as it includes pictures and diagrams through out.i liked that it would help me out in the learners test and hep me for the rest of my life and knowing the road code. i didn't like this book in the fact that it can become quite tedious and boring in the layout it is portrayed in. i would recommend it to people who are wanting to get their learners license or who wants to know the road code.
kinda boring cause it's non-fiction and the road code like what was I expecting, definitely not a jam-packed fantasy book? shockingly there's no spice in this book, but that is expected as this is probably like the only non-fiction books I've willingly read xx
I thought that this was a very valuable book to read, because it will help me learn the rules of the road! A bit dry, but I thought the quiz at the end was good to help me remember the facts.
Pretty helpful summary of New Zealand road rules with good structure and illustrations, but is missing some information on some key scenarios that I encountered.
