I met one of the Vietmanese pastors who are mentioned in this book and it was captivating. He came to a local church and gave his testimony and preached for about an hour that felt like five minutes. I bought this book at the meeting and the pastor wrote me a personal message in it and autographed it. He was very nice and humble. I enjoyed this book and it was interesting to read about the hardships people go through in other countries becasue of their Christianity. This is a good book to read if you are worried about what people are going to say to you because of your faith. The men and women in this book have had a lot more happen to them other than people just talking about them and yet they keep going on. I am going to take this one to church and pass it around but only to those that I know will get it back to me in the same condition they got it from me.

This book is incredible. These Christians stand for their Lord no matter the threats and persecution of the government, and He is always faithful to them. It's a group of short stories so you don't get to really know any of them very well, but the message is quite clear. Christ is worth everything.
