I have actually been reading this book for the last few months on my Nook, savoring it as long as I could at dr. appointments, etc, trying to make it last as long as possible. Alas, all good things must come to an end. This book, and the entire series, have been tied for my favorite King novels. Loved, and was surprised, at the ending....Write on, Stephen King...I have been reading this author for at least 25 years, and always look forward to his next one!

I guess that this was an okay book. It was a page-turner for a while, than slowed down about 3/4 to the end. Usually I can expect a slow-down in most of the Stephen King novels that I have read.

Roland finally reached his God-forsaken tower, with the loss of all of his friends that once formed his ka-tet. I can really appreciate all the hard work that Mr. King put into this book, since he has been writing The Dark Towers for years, but I was glad when it was over. The ending was not especially what I would have liked, but it was good enough. I can't say that the end of the book was terrible, just that it is what it is.

I have been thinking about reading The Wind Through the Keyhole, but am not sure if I want to get into another Tower book right now.

Ka is a wheel... finished the final #StephenKing #TheDarkTowerVII book. I believe I read the first book "The Gunslinger" and listened to the others in audio book form. I understand he began the series as a young man about 30 years ago. It's a brilliant way to tie all of his work from wide ranging genres together! The 2nd book is the one that got me hooked. I still need to read "The Wind Through the Keyhole," but I'm ready for the movie now. The Wind Through the Keyhole is the novel written by Stephen King considered to be in between the fourth and fifth books of the Dark Tower series. It is a stand alone novel and delves into another story in Roland's life. I highly recommend this book series!

This book was a little strange and I wasn't really sure where King was going with it, but he kept my attention and I stuck with it. I'm glad I did. I truly love the characters King develops.

The ending seemed almost anti climactic...I guess the point is in the getting there...
