Kimberly Zant is one of Kaitlyn O'Connor's many pen names.
I enjoyed this contemporary mfm quickie... actually more like mfmmmmm!!
I rated it a 2.5, but that's mostly because it just wasn't well-written (mechanics) rather than because I didn't like the basic story. With more pages and development, this could have been so much better. It's written differently than most of O'Connor's work in that it isn't funny, but it's cute. There are slight similarities in the guys' personalities to her other mfm groups, i.e. a sweet guy, a sensitive one, the Alpha type, and so on.
Carly Bethea is on the run from her stalkerish ex-husband, who even tried to frame her for drug possession to get revenge. (Ok, that part just didn't make sense to me.) Anyway, she finally moves several states away from him and takes on the identity of her deceased childhood friend, Marlee Beauchamp. She gets a file clerk job at a law office. She is low-tech, over thirty, and a BBW (oh, of course... snore).
One day she's called in by the 6 attorneys in the practice, who inform her she's suspected of helping someone hack the computers in order to get information on a case. Then the whole story devolves into Marlee/Carly having to spend 6 months as a sex plaything for the attorneys to atone for something she didn't do. (It's more like fun and games in a gorgeous luxury log cabin.)
I know I shouldn't like this story. Plot holes, not developed, too short... yada, yada, but I did. The guys were sweet to Marlee. There's even an HEA!
