The Gator Ate Her

Rate this book
What's big and green and mean all over? Algernon is about to find out. He's spending summer vacation with his relatives, "the Swamp People." They live near a swamp, and Algie hates swamps. He hates the smell. He hates the insects that hover around. But mostly, he hates the dark, murky water. Below the muddy surface, Algie knows something is lurking. Wicked... watching...waiting... He's right.

If this is how we are starting the summer off, I think we have a lot to look forward to. This book had it all for me; the Ghost Alligator of Howling Swamp, a hurricane, snake scares, swamps, swamp tours and hot sauce. I loved it all. I have been told before that some of my books have pacing issues, because they are a little too fast paced. Like I said, if all of these books are going to be like this I think we are in for another great summer of middle grade horror reading and blogging. Either way, we are off to a hot start.
