Starla, the Wishing Star, lost her happiness and cannot seem to find it anywhere. She appears to become depressed and without hope when the actions of a homeless women and two movers help her find her happiness.
The text is lengthy and HEAVILY preachy. The dialogue is unrealistic and the illustrations are not my taste BUT, I do feel the book could be paired with quality discussion and used as a tool to discuss feelings of sadness and happiness with children...adults even.
