Wolf likes to play chase, but his friends on the farm don't like his dirty teeth. Sheep likes to play ball, but she keeps tripping over her long hair. Pig likes to play hide-and-go-seek, but when he hides in a pile of dirt, his friends don't notice he's there.
What's the answer?
A toothbrush! A haircut! A bath! With the good-natured help of their farm friends, Wolf, Sheep, and Pig find that keeping clean isn't so bad after all.
This playful picture book for preschoolers puts some fun into cleaning up. Charming animal characters, three easy stories, and striking artwork make bathtime fun!
This book is a thinly-disguised story about three farmyard animals who need to work on their personal hygiene in order to live a more fun and fulfilling life. The wolf needs to remember to brush his teeth every day; the sheep must cut his hair; the pig must bathe regularly. And though each of those animals is at first reluctant to do those chores, they find afterward that being clean has its rewards. (Hint, hint kids: you should brush your teeth, get your hair cut, and take baths, too!)
This was a cute and short story. I wouldn't add it to our collection at home, but it was a good one to borrow from the library for a one-time read.
