This book is more for younger children but teaches a very important lesson. That lesson is that lying is bad, the more you lie the worse the problem is. It shows children that it is not okay to lie and when you do there are consequences for it.

This children's book was about a Lion named Leon who was lying around, while his friends are looking for their personal belongs that they have lost. They ask Leon if he has seen their missed placed items and he responds with no. But in reality, Leon has stolen these belongings from his friends and continues to say throughout the story that he has just been lying around all day. Leon ends up getting caught when he jumps in the river, and everyone finds their tissues, sneakers, and toothbrush floating alongside him. His friends respond to this by saying that he has been "lying around all day". This clever act of word play, plays a large part in this story's unfolding and is something the audience is intended to pick up on. That while Leon is lying around a tree all day, he is also lying to his friends about not knowing where their belongings are. This use of word play keeps the audience engaged so that they will can find out if his friends will pick up on this word play. The pages are another way the book keeps engagement with their very color imagery that is placed throughout each page. The images cover about 3/4 of the page and the sentences are placed below them to keep the readers/listeners engagement on the pictures. This story has an overall valuable lesson to be learned, that children should not lie to their friends because eventually that lie will
unfold.
