I was pleasantly surprised by this book! It was action packed and full of steamy romance, LOL!! I loved the secondary characters even more than the main ones!!

What author wouldn’t give his/her own book a 5 star rating? If you don’t believe in your work, why put it out there? But if you’re reading this, let me just give you a quickie about why I love this book and its characters.
This is contemporary action-romance story about second chances, and every once in a while, many of us need one. I wanted to write about a second chance that was worthwhile, but doesn’t come easy, and may not come at all.
The story is set in the beautiful mountains of Idaho.
Devon, the hero, has many skills and has lots to offer as a protector, but like many of us, he’s human. He doesn’t always get it right, but he loves Giffin, and he’ll die trying, if that’s what it takes. I love his willpower.
Giffin’s life (the heroine) hasn’t always been roses, but she’s made sound, if not perfect, choices in her past. One of those choices has unexpectedly put her life in danger, and it’s catching up to her fast. One of my most favorite moments in the book is when she gets to confront her unknown enemy and the way she handles it. (I obviously don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that I find the moment most satisfying … and if you’ve ever had anyone be mean to you, really mean to you, then I think you’ll like it, too.)
There’s a mystery, lots of action, very steamy romance, and characters I’ve fallen in love with.
If you decide to give Love and Bullets a try, I hope you love it as much as I do. Your hopeful enjoyment of my stories is one of the reasons I write!

I loved this book! There was action around every corner...poor characters never seemed to get much alone time...lol But the romance was worth all the edge of your seat excitement. I couldn't put it down...can't wait for the next book!

Delightful read. The title tells the story Mary Kate Kopec fills in between the lines. This is an Outstanding story line...Kept my attention with the action packed plot. Especially loved the romance mmmm.

This is the second book I've read by this author, but the first in this series.
We're thrown into the action right away.
Her characters, Devon and Giffen, are real and the author writes so that we care about them. I'd say, that while we do learn to care for D & G, the focus throughout the majority of the book is on the action.
The pace of story slows for a while and the love story simmers underneath the action and you're left wondering when the heck the volcano will erupt. Don't skip any pages. There's important information about D & G.
The pace picks up again and the simmering love begins to boil.
I truly enjoy MKK's writing. Now, on to Book 2 of the series.
