This book is so awesome! It is like you are really taking off for outer space. It begins with the "launch" and rising from the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The intention is for the reader to feel as if they are taking off for outer space. Next, is the Extravehicular activity which is the actual space walk. It also discusses the moon, moon walk, space mission, space station, mars sojourner and continues with the rest of the planets. And that at last you arrive back home!

I gave this book 5/5 stars. I love the virtual tour and imaginative piece of this book. Children love to imagine themselves as others and especially an astronaut. All of the illustrations are all real photos in three-dimension (if you have the glasses with the book). I would definitely put this book in my classroom library for nay age group in elementary.
