Seventeen year old Sabrina Ashley embraces her future by finally confronting her past. At the tender age of seven, Sabrina witnessed the murder of her father. She tucked a crucial piece of evidence away, burying it beneath her childhood treasures. Likewise, she hid the haunted, forbidden pains of sorrow deep within her soul. As Sabrina struggles to keep the past locked away, golden opportunities of promise present themselves. Delicious relationships are formed, and even though Sabrina never expects it, happiness dances on every horizon. Sabrina stumbles through a first love and onward to a lasting one. Characters from her childhood reemerge; both good and bad. Sabrina eventually battles the searing, tormented demons of yesterday. Long awaited peace infuses Sabrina's soul, when at last the festering, infected secrets are confronted and justice is served. Sabrina defies social prejudice against her youth as she listens to the promptings of her heart and charts her own course into adulthood.
I love this book! You will laugh, cry, and experience every emotion. She ties the characters in so well! You will get to know the characters personally, and you will want to know what happens to them. Thank you mom for sharing your amazing talents through your writing!
This was such a good read. I read it in 3 days and had a very hard time putting it down. I can't wait to see what June Marie has up her sleeve for her second and third books. :)
Helen gave me this Book. Writer signed it. Shes from Bear Lake. A Young gal views from a loft her father getting killed, and the real reason for it. She kept this a secret. She meets a super guy, who later becomes her step brother causing lots of problems for their relationship. Her mother marries a very wealthy guy, They build a huge house, with a sunken tub, and painting of her own favorite spot for Sabrina. I love how book ends.
I really enjoined the story line it was surprising and unexpected. The only thing I didn't like was the way the author spoke. It was . As if someone was looking in watching her, which in a way it was. However it didn't change. Now that I think about it people were still watching from above I guess. It was different and confused me at times. Other than that it was sweet and loving and hot. I would have like to seen more closure for her step brother but that's the way it goes. Enjoy.
I so enjoyed this book. It is so nice to find a book that I can really enjoy and feel good about recommending it to others. I highy recommend this love story/mystery book. It took me into a wonderful dream world that I did not want to leave.
I love this book! Of course I actually wrote it and so I should...however, so should you if you enjoy romantic mysteries with good values and enchanting characters.
A fabulous read, one that I could not put down. I was surprised at how well this book kept me turning pages well into the night and following morning. A must read!!!
This isn't the kind of book that I'd choose for myself (flowery, LDS-romance) but a student gave me it on loan from her grandma. It's the student's favorite book. And no wonder with all the gooey kissing scenes and plot twists.
It was really a pretty decent read. It was LDS romance fiction and I usually don't read that but I was surprised at how much I did enjoy it. It flowed really well.
