Benjamin Joseph Reed was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1979, the first son of Steven L. and Patricia J. Reed. He made his professional début in December of 2010, when he unveiled Diary of a Sad Man, a collection of short stories and numerous poems, most of which are written in the form of enclosed tercets. Due to the elegance of his prose, the style in which he writes, and his seemingly natural ability to rhyme without compromising the quality of his poetry, Reed has earned the nickname “The Tyrant of Tercets.”
