A powerful truth-in-myth about the women of the Sisterhood of the Sun who have carried the light codes of consciousness for the coming Golden Age. The book has been a source of deep healing for the wounded feminine spirit - a call to all women to learn from the powerful archetypes it portrays. This series of twelve stories includes the lives of Mary Magdalen, Lilith, Isis, Morgaine, and a young woman, Isabel, whose tragic life ends in the fires of the Inquisition. The loss of the Codes of Light with her death is offset by their presence in the lives of the Priestesses of the Sun in the Inca lineage. An activating account of the enduring feminine spirit, The Lineage of the Codes of Light is a must-read for all conscious women and men.
I didn't make it through the free preview. I got as far as the womanhood ceremony, which involves a bunch of girls and the mother of the girl becoming a woman, doing a creepy sexual ritual. A mother involved in a sexual ritual with her daughter?! Wtf?! This book is clearly not spiritual the way it pretends to be. I'm amazed that other people think this is not only not creepy, but good. I'm glad I didn't waste money on this disgusting garbage.
Fact or fiction enjoyed these well written stories about women (and men) carrying for centuries the codes of light from the stars.
Interestingly during my time in Peru, where I discovered this book, the worlds described in it coincided with the worlds experienced in my dream-space prior to reading the book.
When I was in Mt. Shasta at a retreat led by Beloved, during a class on sacred dance, a woman came up to me and recommended this book. She looked straight at me and recommended it. I nodded. A little while later she came up to me, placed both hands on my arms and said, "YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK." After the class she approached me a third time and explained that it was really important for me to read this book. It was. Thanks Jessie for writing it.
If you are on a path of discovering your connection to the divine feminine, try this one. I have heard you stop reading after the chapter that relates to you. This happened to me, but I have since picked it up again. Jessie Ayani is amazing.
