The author did an excellent job in telling her story. She showed her pain in a way that the reader could experience it. Unfortunately, the flow of the story constantly gets interrupted when the author gets philosophical about the consequences of her sins. She also didn't seem to have the educational background necessary to be able to do it accurately.
