Time to get that grammar up. Being an aspiring writer, and not an english major or ESL teacher, I've been trying to read as many grammar books as possible. I liked this one because it had a bunch of quizzes and things that I hadn't seen in other grammar books. I personally believe to be a writer, you need to read more than just Strunk and White. It's taken me at least half a dozen books to put to bed all the hair-splitting details of grammar. I'm still such a student and I have no problem being that way. The book was sort of dry, but to me, if you can find something in a grammar book that benefits your writing or answers a grammar question that you've stumbled upon while writing, they're worth it. Run-on sentence. LOL
I'm afraid an ebook is still not quite up to the challenge of this type of book. I would have like to have been able to read some of the quizzes better, or even take the quiz as part of the ebook, but unfortunately, there are some things a Nook can't do right now. However, this is a fantastic resource to have at hand, and I would suggest it for anyone.
