Rate this book
Stephen Hill takes you on a spine tingling journey into the mysteries of the afterlife and what awaits us on the other side. A mysterious voice captured on the audio of his camcorder during a local cemetery visit causes him to question his perception of reality, religion and even his own sanity. These questions lead him back to the cemetery in an attempt to find answers to questions that he cannot even begin to comprehend. He soon realizes that something has followed him home from the graveyard, something that wants to make it's presence known. Yes, Something Unseen! This gripping tale of one man’s journey into the other side will keep you on the edge of your seat. Stephen Hill went into the graveyard that day to do a little genealogical research. He walked away with more than he bargained for. What happens when we die? Is that it, or is there more? After reading this book you may never look at the afterlife the same again!

Interesting insights

I enjoyed the author's humor as he plunged into these experiences. Refreshing that his mind is open to the energies and he follows his own instincts to determine what is truly evil. And I have always thought that most of these spirits simply need assistance to see the light, or even to simply help them realize that the light is for them. Delighted that Hill helps them cross without the usual overkill of ceremonial ritual. Very enjoyable. Hope he writes more! I think demons can be overpowered simply by loving and understanding their agony...just a thought -- I haven't requested for testing yet.

What an incredible book! The moment I started to read I was sucked into the story. The author does a superb job of describing the action, while adding his own explanations and a little bit of informative/educational detail. He repeats several phrases throughout the book to either stress his reasoning for exploring the paranormal, or to help break the tension by injecting a little "shock" comic relief. I highly recommend getting this book.

this is a chronological journey of one man's introduction into communicating with spirits through EVP and soon through ghost radio. i actually really appreciated jim's humble approach to stumbling upon "something unseen" and his desire to honestly attempt to find out if these ghosts - who continuously spoke to him through EVPs - were real or imagined. he finally accepts that he is communicating with the dead and hasn't stopped since. very interesting guy and a quick read.
