Sassafras is found living in an animal shelter and as it turns out to she is a special type of pure breed poodle. Not only is she a special type of poodle, she is the last of her kind. Sassafras is a Royal Bedrosian Long-Necked Spotted Poodle a real life pink poodle princess.

This adorable story is sure to be a favorite of little girls everywhere. I bought this book as well as the squeal, for my niece who quickly fell in love with Sassafras.

Make sure you check out the sequel: Sassafras Goes to Hollywood
