'Now that I knew Julie was gone forever, more than anything else, I needed to know who had left my grandson without a mother to kiss him goodnight and tuck him in. I wanted justice to be done.'
I was given this book as a present. Didn't I get a shock when I started to read. Ann Ming is an amazing mother and writer. I was drawn into this true story from the very start. I couldn't put it down. It created several emotions anger, sadness, aggression and smiles as well. And I so wanted to give Ann a cuddle at times. I have recommended to friends but they felt it too difficult as they have daughters themself.
