Airedale Terriers were originally bred in Yorkshire, England.Over there they were used as guard dogs. They were also used in World War I as a guard dog and a messenger for the British army. Airedale Terriers make good pet or companion to old and young people. They can weigh anywhere between 45 and 50 pounds. You are only supposed to feed them once a day. Also known as as “King of Terriers”.
