Themes of Orthodox discernment, incarnation, community, asceticism, praxis and witness are the call of all Christians towards a life-giving spirituality that heals the brokenness of the world.
Metropolitan Emilianos Timiadis is, as you can perhaps tell by the title "Metropolitan," an Orthodox priest. Some Western Christians will therefore find the title and purpose of the book strange, if not a little confusing. To many Western Protestants, parts of the book will seem heretical. First of all, I assure you nothing heretical found its way into the book, and Timiadis's reflections are worthwhile for pondering and reflection.
I appreciate that Metropolitan Timiadis breaks up the book into chapters that cover the most crucial elements of Christian faith, like Incarnation and Praxis; and then writes each chapter in small chunks. You get one idea/reflection for a few paragraphs, stop and pause, and then another. I'd encourage reading it the way it's written.
