Moth sat back in the darkness and happiness esploded inside her like a firework. She'd done it. She was going to dance in a real ballet. Moth has been chosen to dance in The Nutcracker at Christmas, and to go on tour. But just when things seem to be going right, not only The Nutcracker but her whole future as a ballerina is threatened. Whatever it takes, Moth is determined to find a way to dance...
Like Ballet Shoes for the 1980s. One of my favourite childhood books. I've read this one many times but this is my first time reading the whole series. I did get annoyed at the description of her seeing La Bayadère with Robert: "which Moth had never heard of", when she had already been to see La Bayadère with Robert in the previous book!
