New and updated datasets, including GSS and NES (all datasets include additional variables for use on research papers, exams, or assignments);
New end-of-chapter exercises, which gradually increase in difficulty to reinforce and build on key concepts; and

This is the ultimate beginner's guide to STATA (much better than any book that actually touts itself as a beginner's guide to STATA). It gives step by step guides to all of the basic statistical techniques through logistic regression, and it tells you how to get around some of STATA's little glitchy issues.
