I arrive on Alia Terra tempted by the promise of fertile land and females.
Filled with longing, I cannot rest until I find a sweet mate just for me. One who will warm my bed at night, one for whom I will build my fortune under the scorching sun.
There is only one way to meet a perfect match: the Temple. I do the test and focus on building a prosperous ranch for the female who is destined for me. She will have the best of everything.
The wait is long. Long enough to lose hope.
And then, the letter comes. My mate is ready to be claimed, and I set out immediately. Nothing can stop me now.
When I see her, my blood burns with desire, and the instinct to make her mine overshadows everything. She is precious, perfect, and too beautiful to be true. She is everything I could have dreamed of.
I will never let her go. I will pamper, love, and caress her until every inch of her body belongs to me. No other male will drink from her nectar. No other will plunge deep into her sweet depths.
I will claim what’s mine.

Okay, let’s be honest here. The fact that each. Book so far in this series is pretty much less than 100 pages long. So, I am a bit confused why, When I was reading some of the reviews for these books, why people were complaining about it being instant love. What do you expect to get out of 100 pages? A slow burn.? Come on people be realistic. . I do feel like some of these books are a bit cheesy. And a bit over the top. But they’re quick reads. And they are pretty decent In my opinion……… I just need something bit lighter in my life now, and this series Satisfies. me for now
I will be continuing this series, as I love Layla Fae, and I’m willing to test out the other author’s works (Cara Wylde and (Eden Ember}
First book in this series was great…this one was terrible
I hate being super critical, but this book was all kinds of bad. Especially when you compare it to the first book in this series. She starts out crying because she doesn’t want this, then literally three pages later she’s weirdly enthusiastic and calling him “my love”. The writing was super cringy, particularly the spicy scenes, and the plot seems like it was barely a half formed idea. I realized quickly this was a different author than the first book (I definitely didn’t pay attention when I clicked on the next book), so hopefully the next one by a new author will be better.
Compared to the first book this was an absolute train wreck. Eden Ember's writing constantly made me cringe, and the fmc Auryn was a spineless idiot who was crying because she missed her family one moment, and in the next 2-3 pages she gave me whiplash because she suddenly became enthusiastic and in love out of nowhere. Everything felt contrived and unnecessary, especially the dialogue and the side characters. There were so many typos, grammatical errors and nonsensical statements that made me want to claw my own eyes out. And the story was either absolute chaos with no link between events, or purely insignificant with superfluous details, so the plot was basically nonexistent.
For example, the paragraph "Vrakius wanted to get rid of me. Well, okay, maybe not get rid of me because he doesn’t like me, but to keep me safe. We climbed back into the caravan after eating dinner." made me regret reading it. The tenses are inconsistent, Auryn jumps from thought to thought out of nowhere, and I don't get why she's so needy and clingy after barely a day of knowing her groom??? And this paragraph is already an instance of the author's better writing. You can imagine the quality of the rest of the book.
Remind me never to read a book by Eden Ember, ever. I'm convinced that literally anything would be a better use of my time.
PSA to authors: Please don't underestimate the importance of having a good editor/proofreader. I'm begging you. You'll save yourself and the reader so much torture.
DNF at 28%, the hymen breaking like that is not often accurate, and to put so much emphasis on it is perpetuating virginity myths. I also don’t like how this series puts so much emphasis on the women being pure and virginal, but the men aren’t held to the same standards, per usual
A generous 2 stars as I read through this very fast, and it held my attention. But my God, this was not good. This has to be the most contradictory writing I've ever experienced - the facts weren't adding up. I actually started taking notes.
Example: A certain trip took them hours, but later on, the same distance was covered in half an hour. Auryn is super hesitant to be matched and doesn't want a husband. Literally, immediately after leaving her home (hasn't even arrived to see her mate yet), she is excited to please him blah blah
it was ok 🌠🌠🌠 The story was good but it was just to short. If there was more character development and more depth in the story thus would have been so much better.

Wed to the Minotaur de Eden Ember serie Arranged Monster Mates varias autoras.
Argumento:
I was hoping I would enjoy this book more than the last since it was written by a different author. Unfortunately, you simply cannot fit so much info, events, etc in 94 kindle pages. It’s impossible. I could not connect to the characters and to be honest I became bored with the story after the first two chapters.
It was just cheesy and okay. I think there was potential but the execution just wasn’t there. This book either needs to be lengthened and rewritten or a lot has to be cut.
You can’t fit a full novel in less than 100 pages. I also did a lot of cringing with the love scenes and when they called each other “love”.
This book was okay. I enjoyed the first 15% of the book and character descriptions were good. Unfortunately, I did not care for the dialogue. I found it forced and not believable. Still I would have liked the book more, because I really love Minotaur romances, and liked the Minotaur in this story just fine, but I just didn't like the female lead - at all. I am always open to the possibility that it could be just me - though I am not really a 'mood reader'. So, if you read it and love her drop me a note and change my mind!
This was kind of not it!! Especially comparing to the previous book! The writing is not bad per se, it was alright but the smut and the overall romance was cringe and insta lovey!! Auryn starts on not actually wanting to marry her match to calling love or whatever so this was was sadly a bust for me!! It did have potential but ........anyway
Ah, what happened? This was not good AT ALL. The first book was amazing but the writing in this one was terrible.
The story was so flat and one-dimensional and it seemed to have broken English in it. It felt like a first draft and needed an editor.
I know there's not a lot you can do with 95 pages but I felt like all the plot points the author wanted to include in this just did not fit. It then made the entire thing rushed and I got whiplash trying to keep up.
One minute the FMC doesn't want a marriage then it's insta-love?
FMC makes such stupid choices and seems really immature and naive despite being the eldest sister.
The minotaur is meant to be fiercely possessive but doesn't seem to say a word when he finds her after she runs off despite the dangers.
The spice was cringing AF and gave me the ick. "into my muff, he pressed his cock” MUFF?! Gag. 🤮🤮 It's giving Wattpad.
Also, the words 'channel' and 'tunnel' were used too many times. The losing of her virginity scene was also grim and awkward.
I LOVED Layla Face’s ‘We’d To the Ice Giant’ so I thought this would be great as well. I almost DNF’d it, however. They’re in love after knowing each other for an hour? Insta-lust is fine, but head-over-heels, deep love? It’s unbelievable. I get that it’s a novella, but everything is so sped up that it doesn’t even make sense in some parts. One sentence they’ll be driving in a truck and the next she’s naked in a motel room?
Ok, this was a sweet story. But I’m confused wasn’t the middle sister the sister mated to the phoenix? Not the bear shifting. So clearly that was wrong. Other than that I thought this was a sweet little story.
Im so loving this series! Monster heroes and virgin heroines who tame them?!! YASSSSSS please!!!
This was very cute! A simple story, but enjoyable. There were a few clunky moments when the writing was a smidge awkward, but overall it was smooth and flowed well. For a novella, the author packed in a lot! Meeting, marriage, some mayhem and plenty of steam!
Safe. Dual virgins. No Ow/om, no cheating, sharing, abuse. HEA with epilogue
What can I say? This was a fun little romp, definitely a fun and easy read. The vocab in this sounded like my grandmother wrote the sex scenes sometimes… muff … *shivers* 2.5 stars for me, I’ll keep the others in the series in mind when I want something easy to digest.
Tropes: Insta-love, pregnancy, fated mates, virgin. I’m sure there’s more.
I didn't enjoy this one as much as the Ice King that I'd previously read in this series. The writing was okay, but the story wasn't all that engaging to me. I wanted a little bit more from it.
