Can I Get a Do Over?: Unforgettable Stories of Second Chances and Life Makeovers

Rate this book
Navigating career changes, switching industries, ending relationships,
revisiting a way of life—these are some of the life-altering 'do overs'
we face, whether by choice or by circumstance. In these uncertain
times, the opportunities for starting fresh are appearing more frequently
. . . if only they are recognized and seized. In Can I Get a Do Over?
multichannel retail giant QVC's senior host Rick Domeier takes an up-close
look at the amazing people who were courageous enough to ask for a do over
and overcome great odds and obstacles, literally reinventing whole aspects of
their lives.
Through in-depth interviews with everyday people as well as celebrities such
as Happy Days' Anson Williams, figure skater Peggy Fleming, and comedian
Adam Holtz (a.k.a. The Great Holtzie), this lively read takes an entertaining
and action-oriented approach to the process of reinventing one's life. Not
another how-to book that offers steps and tips for change, this book lets its doover
stories encourage and teach by example.
Rick Domeier has spent the last sixteen years as a host on national television and has

Another inspirational read. Simple stories of not-so-simple issues people faced head-on. It's NEVER too late to reshuffle the cards you've been dealt. This book gave me a new look at things!
