Michael Farr (born 1953 in Paris) is a former British journalist and an expert regarding the comic series The Adventures of Tintin and its creator, Hergé. He has written several books on the subject, as well as translating several others into English.

Yesterday I read Thomson And Thompson and really didn't enjoy it so today I decided to read this book and really enjoyed it! If I could rate it I'd give it a 3.5 but not a 4.

This time round the way the book was writen was much clearer and the background on her is way more compelling and interesting. There seemed to be more of a backstory to her than Thomson And Thompson which I enjoyed reading. Bianca didn't rate very high in my favorite characters however The Castafiore Emerald was one of my all time favorite Tintin comics.

Bianca Castafiore, seorang diva yang ngerasa paling cantik. Satu-satunya tokoh wanita yang menjadi bintang dalam Petualangan Tintin. Pertama kali muncul dalam Tongkat Ottokar. Madame Castafiore ini suka banget sama perhiasan. Sering banget salah sebut nama Kapten Haddock- Paddock, Havoc, Hatbox. Profesor Lakmus naksir berat sama Madame Castafiore tapi kayaknya maadame sukanya sama Kapten Haddock deh.

Bianca Castafiore suka banget sama Kapten Haddock, tapi ditolak. Trus Prof Lakmus atau Prof Calculus yang jatuh cinta dalam hati sama Castafiore gak juga bisa mendapatkan hati si penyanyi opera yang glamour itu.

Paling gak ada 1 tokoh perempuan dalam serial Tintin yang fenomenal, yaitu Castafiore :)

Lucu juga ya... ternyata Madam Bianca ga glamor dari pertama kali munculnya... Juga melihat betapa cinta Calculus/Lakmus padanya tak berbalas. Dan, eh... Madam Bianca naksir berat Kapten Paddock, ya? :)
