This is an erotic romance (i.e. sex-heavy plot) with an intriguing plot. It actually entertained as much as it titillated.

"Love Lust" is a short novella that packs a lot of spice in between the covers; book covers or bed covers--whichever way you want to go with it. Liv is a succubus that not only needs lust and sex to sate her hunger, but she also requires love to sooth it. She, and her best friend Paula, also a succubus but with different cravings, are on the run from their maker. When Paula learns that the curse of succubi can be cured, she and Liv head west to see the doctor in question.

In the meantime, Liv meets Justin while at a poetry reading for her ex-boyfriend, Seth. Knowing that the feelings she has for Justin are more than the succubi curse, she holds back at the risk of losing the man she knows belongs with her.

This is a hot little number. Full of steam and sex, this book is not for anyone under the age of 18, nor anyone who dislikes reading about sex. The dialogue between every character in this novella is crisp and flows well. There aren't any uncomfortable spots or crickets chirping in any part of "Love Lust."

Liv is believable in her roll as a succubus that doesn't want to turn any of her lovers into mindless slaves, which is what happens to partner of a succubus. She is strong willed in her determination not to do that to another human being. As she discovers her love for Justin, she just as quickly pushes it back, not wanting that fate for him. Her progression into true love with Justin, her maker finds her and tries luring her back to him. Will she leave Justin and return to her creator or is this true love that she and Justin have and will it be enough?

The plot in this novel flows well but it ends a bit abruptly; sort of like the author had only a specified number of pages available, so when she neared that, the story quickened too much.

I did enjoy this quick read, however, and am sure you will too!

So let me begin by saying that I read this book knowing absolutely nothing about it, except that it was HOT. Oh it's HOT all right. Steaming hot! I literally felt like I needed a cigarette after reading this and I don't smoke. I was up until the wee hours of the morning until my eyes crossed, because I couldn't put it down.

Liv is a Succubus that needs sex and lust to survive. She thinks that finding someone to love will cure her. She moves from one relationship to the next never feeling satisfied. Until she senses Justin. He stirs something inside of her that she's never felt before. Could he be the one to cure her?

Be warned that this isn't a sweet and gentle romance. After all she is a Succubus. They get down and dirty and nothing is off limits. So if you blush easily, you may want to read this at home.

You will find yourself rooting for Liv and Justin to find happiness. Can Liv control her desires enough to find out if there is more to their relationship than sex? Or is she truly meant to be with her ex? Grab your copy, devour it in a night like I did, and find out.

Love Lust is an amazing novel, full of sex …but so much more! I could practically feel the novel pulsating with the heart and soul that was put into this story as I read about Olivia’s emotional journey as she searched for a cure. We usually see Succubus’ as these creatures that get off on sex and while Olivia needs the lust to survive; somehow Ms. Scott has taken the book to a new height. She has added elements that give this erotic novel depth and make me want to stand up and cheer and shout to the world that this is the type of novel I love. A book with substance, one that packs a powerful punch and allows me to not only read this tale but allows me to feel as if I am emotionally attached to the storyline. I would like to thank Ms. Scott for sharing her wonderful talent with the world!

Liv is a succubus, a demon requiring lust and sex to feed her. But Liv, unlike her roommate needs more; she needs love. Although previous relationships have always sated her, they never gave her her ultimate desire – a cure. Then she meets upcoming rock-star Justin. Her attraction and need for him are unlike anything she has known before, but is it love? Does he hold the cure? Will Live be able to find the answers before Justin’s career takes him away from her forever?

Love Lust is fiercely addictive. I read it in just over a day, which is quick for me. Amber Scott combines hot sex with a story of love and hope.

With its mesmerizing storyline and fun characters, Love Lust is a worthwhile paranormal erotic romance to read.

Guaranteed to heat up your day!

Love Lust is hot, seductive and romantic. The characters have depth and are relatable, despite the paranormal aspect of the story. I was especially drawn to Liv, she has a great personality and she does her best to deal with her situation but draws the line at hurting others just to help herself, which I found admirable.

This is a story about love, new beginnings and is sure to be a worthwhile read for those of us who love our romance with a healthy dash of smut!

I adore this novella. It's hot, steamy and romantic. Be adviced it's an erotic story, so not for younger readers or those who do not want some smutty goodness in their romances. It's a fast, enjoyable read that leaves you hungry for more. Luckily the world building and background of Liv are done very well for such a short story (120 pages) and they leave plenty of options for much more stories with other characters who are mentioned in this story, so that's what I'm hoping for.

Not recommended for younger readers due to adult situations.

This book contains a lot of sex which is to be expected from a story about succubi. I anticipated just reading part of it and ditching it as something that was all sex and no story... But this surprised me in a way, as it is about two creatures who were trapped into their lifestyles and desperately want to find a way out. Not a bad story.

Liv is a Succubus with a conscience; Justin is hunk of burning love. Liv has a theory that love will `cure' her, but she is actually afraid of truly loving and of being loved. What is love exactly? This is a unique story will get its hooks in you early and not let you go. So grab a bottle of wine and get comfortable and enjoy the ride. I can't wait for Paula's story where I am sure we will see more of Liv.

The idea of this story was a good one but for me Amber Scott just didn't pull it off. I didn't hate it but I also didn't really like it. I'm glad this was a fast easy read or it would have been one of those books you don't want to finish.

Kindle freebie, series, paranormal romance, succubus demons

I love how Mrs. Scott spins the succubus lore. She takes the myth and gives it a nice twist. I’d never thought about one being “made” by another, like a vampire, but I can see the relationship. I’ll look for the next one.

I read this book in one day. The sex scenes keep you reading away and there is just enough story that you want to find out if it will work or not. so a very good book for a lazy day.

Free on amazon. Good quick read. I liked that the author had a slightly different take on the succubus. All the correct lore with a few small differences.

This story was all right, but I hated the ending. It ended way too abruptly.
