When the news came that the federal building in Oklahoma City had been bombed, most people experienced shock, anger and confusion. This book takes a look at why God allows tragedies like this to happen, and gives readers inspiring stories of the men and women who were there to help.
OK, here's the thing. I read this book because I wanted to learn more information that I maybe didn't already know about the event. I was not searching for any kind of religious answer as to why it happened, nor did I particularly care about the author's answer to her own question. This was a good thing, because I didn't find her approach very convincing or even very organized. I have my own answer that I'm satisfied with (as much as you can be when things like this happen in the world). I struggled to stay engaged with the book because the pace was very slow and it often seemed like there were a lot of words used to say nothing at all. However, I do appreciate the things I did learn about the event. I really wouldn't recommend this book unless you are uncontrollably curious.
