Ummm, it has a lot of recipes. 1,000 in fact. Some have been wonderful and it has provided a great variety of recipes from around the world to try and challenged me to try new spices and herbs. But...it has also resulted in a couple of the worst outcomes of food I have ever eaten (1 which involved the overuse of fish sauce, ewww). So, I have learned to use common sense when choosing recipes from this book...if it sounds weird, it probably is weird.

The recipes are awesome. Book is huge, which makes cooking in the kitchen difficult. The pictures for nearly every step are helpful, especially for presentation.

I really like this book. It has full-color pictures of every recipe and a lot of great ideas. It loses a star because of the poor index, but other than that it's very good.

An interesting read, but in actuality, difficult to use.
